Yeah, because Bradley and Marquez didn't jump to 147 to fight Pac.

The only fighter who 'jumped' to 147 to fight Floyd is Marquez. Hatton won a title at 147 years before the Floyd fight and Ortiz and Guerrero were established, top 10 welters when they fought Floyd.

Angel Garcia along with everyone else knows Danny is not ready for Mayweather. Kudos to him for not being ashamed to admit it.

I disagree with Angel's assessment of the Matthysse fight. His son won a close fight, Matthysse was not exposed.

I seriously think posters on here get "ducking" and "taking time" confused. It's not considered ducking if the man would like for his son to be ready when he fights a guy that in all reality looks to be unbeatable even at 36. Garcia hasn't even fought at 147 while that is Mayweather's weight class. Ortiz, Guerrero and Canelo all wanted to get paid but when you are content then you make smarter decisions that helps your progression and longevity in the sport. Other than Mayweather I don't see anyone else beating Danny Garcia at 140/147.

I agree 100% with Angel Garcia about fighting Floyd Jr at 47 next for Danny. Mayweather Jr besides him being the cash cow and the best there is right now lol is putting pressure on fighters to get there crack at him since announcing his 6 or whatever fight deal with showtime and done. Fighting Floyd Jr next at welter would make sense financially for Garcia but thats it.

If Canelo took 1-2 more fights, I'm sure the fight would of been a lot closer.. dude didn't seem all that prepared mentally once he got in the ring.

at 147 he can start at like Guerrero, Josesito lopez, Berto or Mosley. Good big names not too elite would still be great fights. If he wins than a winner of Karaas-Thurman or Maidana Broner. at least 2-3 good names before a Mayweather fight.
