This man is very smart, he actually wants to win against Mayweather not just turn up and get their payday. The money would come to them since Mayweather has 4 fights left to go, this is why I didn't agree with Canelo fighting Mayweather so soon.

Lmao @ all the "cong**** garcia dont fight him too soon, canelo shouldnt have". All i heard and seen on this site after floyd picked guerrero first was "floyd will duck canelo, he will never fight him". Now it was too soon??Last edited by MoneyMayFan; 10-26-2013, 03:31 AM.

Ok, Garcia officially doesn't want to fight Floyd next. Can everyone please stop b.itching about how much more deserving he is than Khan?

Angel acts like a ****** during promoting fights but he is a smart and strategic guy. Haven't heard anyone use this thought process. I can think of one guy who jumped to 147 and got drowned out when he stepped to the top 10. Zab Judah.

There is no honour at that level of the sport, just paydays and marketing that make fighters seem better than they really are.
Boxing is a business and like all businesses the objective is to make as much money as possible with as little effort as possible.
I don't blame them at all.

I seriously think posters on here get "ducking" and "taking time" confused. It's not considered ducking if the man would like for his son to be ready when he fights a guy that in all reality looks to be unbeatable even at 36. Garcia hasn't even fought at 147 while that is Mayweather's weight class. Ortiz, Guerrero and Canelo all wanted to get paid but when you are content then you make smarter decisions that helps your progression and longevity in the sport. Other than Mayweather I don't see anyone else beating Danny Garcia at 140/147.

That looks a bit more negative than intended, I have nothing but respect for anyone who laces up a glove, but a lot of the top guys have recogintion for who they are, not what they are.
