To be honest, year round testing with USADA doing it is useless. VADA needs to step in.
The guy who started it all has been getting away with positive test results.Comment

i think it was a matter of pride. mayweather was making all sorts of demands like he ran the show even though pac was more popular than him worldwide. it was pride but pac was willing to go with it then may put another stumbling block with money then he has to promote the fight. do you see the pattern.
EXACTLY!!!! IT WAS A PRIDE THING FOR PAC!!!! Pacquiao was P4P #1 back then while Floydriod went into retirement so he could beef up on HGH before he came back. Floyd doesn't ask such demands with any other fighters...only Pacquiao. Why is that? Because every boxer has someone who has there number... I think Pacman had Floyd's and he knew it, or they would've already fought already.Comment

So Pacquiao and Top Rank never walked away from negotiations over random drug testing? If we read reports from back then, you'll find they did. The bottom line is, no matter what they were prepared to do then, it wasn't what they're prepared to now. They may have paid lip service to random testing but they never par took until three years later.Pacman didn't refuse testing. He agreed to unlimited urine and 3 blood tests, exactly the same tests Floyd took in his fight with Mosley, Ortiz and Cotto. We don't even know if Floyd got tested at all in the Guerrero and Canelo. There were zero reports on those. All of his tests never went beyond 14 days cut off.
I've asked before and I'll ask again. What do people think was the final push that made Pacquiao go from "let the commission do their job" to "it's good for boxing"? (Polar opposite views)Comment

so it doesn't weaken him after all ?????
pac is a liar, no respect at all for him .
anyone that sees this fight as anything more than a comeback fight (cherrypick) is kidding themselves .
rios is a lightweight and got beat in his last outing at jnr welter .
rios has NEVER fought at welter and everyone is talking this fight up .
if pac is the great welter that everyone says why doesn't he fight a true welter or at least a guy that is on a winning streakComment
