Although its not Manny saying it, Bob Arum best interest is to defend Manny so why would he lie here?

They may have paid lip service to random testing but they never par took until three years later.

I've asked before and I'll ask again. What do people think was the final push that made Pacquiao go from "let the commission do their job" to "it's good for boxing"? (Polar opposite views)
Whatever their shortcomings in the first negotiation, Arum attempted to do it right with Haymon and then HBO president Ross Greenburg's supervision, who later said, "I don't know why Floyd walked away," admitting that Pacman agreed to everything Floyd wanted.

Bottom line is, the world didn't come crashing down after the first negotiation. Floyd walked away in the second one, "I'll take a long vacation and spend time with my family..."

Floyd based off of skills and talent should be top 5. He just doesn't have the hugh signature win that most of the top 10 ATG's do. If you put a '10 Pacquiao win (especially a dominate one) on his resume, then that would be the final ingredient that would lead to him being ranked that high.

Floyd does have great wins, I'm not denying that. However it's akin to Moreno not winning the superbowl. Despite all his talent achievements etc....he doesn't have that defying moment that would have cemented his legacy. That fight in '10 was it. To say other wise is just you being in denial.

With that said, nothing in my post has anything to do with Pacquiao, Marquez and Morales ATG rankings. That's another discussion for another thread.

He SAID he would. Too bad his own team contradicted him on it. It's funny how some people always remember that fact that Pac said he would do no cutoff, but conveniently forget the part that Koncz said that was incorrect and that he wanted a 7 day cutoff.

Floyd doesn't ask such demands with any other fighters...only Pacquiao. Why is that? Because every boxer has someone who has there number... I think Pacman had Floyd's and he knew it, or they would've already fought already.
The FRAUDSTER knew Pac was too FAST, and HIT too HARD.

This is priceless. So if Mayweather refused the $10 million per pound over weight clause, would that have been a master stroke ducking move by Top Rank? This is just silly talk. If Rios said no to random testing now, would asking be a duck move? Again, silly talk.

Read the reports. Mayweather agreed to all terms and set one of random tesing. Testing it has taken Manny Pacquiao four years (and a brutal KO) to accept in practice as well as principle. Mayweather's a hypocrite on catchweights and Pacquiao's a hypocrite on testing. It's not such a hard thing to say. The truth shall set you free.

Will you people please stop bringing up Floyd?

Holmes, RJJ, Lewis, Foreman, Chuvalo, Duran, SRL, Hagler, Holyfield, Tyson, Judah... have all agreed that Floyd ducked Pacquiao. These are boxers and these are not Pacquiao fans.
