Talking about the general perception. One way of proving it (to the boxing public) is for him to fight someone else first, if he shows he's legit at the weight it strengthens his claims for the fight (and the legitimacy for FMJ).

But for you personally it doesn't matter if he signs to fight at 152 tommorow it's a great fight.

Common sense can tell you a guy who hasn't been at 154 in over a decade is going to be completely dead at lower than 154.

No, I would love to see this fight. Not tomorrow obviously, he needs time to make weight. I'd prefer if Golovkin did more than just talk about it though. There are some great fights for him at 154. If he says he can make the weight, then he should get on with it. No one wants to fight him at 160.
