Provodnikov Breaks Alvarado is the perfect headline. Alvarado Rocked in Colorado and Ruslan Puts His Foot A Mile High Up Mike's Arse are a couple I came up with.

    Great job by Provodnikov

Dude is no fluke by any stretch..Alvarado damn near came in at 160 and still that azz whopped in his hometown. Would love to see Ruslan with another straight up ****er in there next or a Bradley rematch.

You know I think that would be a good fight for all of 5 rounds, then Danny pulls away with it. Against Danny, the only way Ruslan wins is by KO. I don't think Danny would allow Ruslan to dictate the fight - pace or style. Either way it would be nice to see it happen

I do think Alvarado from a few years back beats Ruslan though but that's not Ruslan's fault or problem. But I could be wrong because Alvarado might have simply overlooked him also with the way he made weight...
DUDE! You're just ******! LOL... "Alvarado is not the same fighter"...same fighter as when???? Two fights with Rios???? He never fought anyone before Rios or after. Rios never fought anyone before Alvarado or since. You act like Alvarado has had this long career of fighting the best and just not the same after two wars..... How about the last fight Provo had, and the majr beatdown he gave the Welterweight "Champion" Bradley, and screwed out of a decision. He comes back in his next fight and gave Alvarado a beatdown again. How come Provo was so strong after the Bradley fight, and Alvarado is not the same after two fights with a B-level fighter names Rios???? Provo is on the scene, he's the real deal, no way Bradley wants a rematch. This guy is like a smaller Gennady. Just relentless, killer who hits you and you stay hit. Alvarado didn't overlook anyone!!! LOL... He just watched Provo dismantle Bradley... how do you overlook that???? Shut up.

There is plenty of things you can call Prov but he is no Golovkin. Not that it's a bad thing, he's just a completely different fighter. Golovkin has excellent technical skills and is just an overall superb boxer and far more well-rounded then Ruslan.

He looked very effective when he was sticking and moving in the 1st half but got macho and fought too close and started getting hurt when Ruslan's punches began having an accumulative effect. Ruslan wasn't hurting him initially but broke him down.
If you really wanna get technical, Tony Weeks was ready to stop the fight after the first knockdown when Alvarado began to get up at 9 and was not completely up when Tony Weeks was ready to say 10 and wave it off, but for some reason he paused. I guess he was giving Alvarado the benefit of being the champ

******..... why would you make this fight???? Have Alvarado go fight Matthysse. Provo should get Danny Garcia. Juan Manuel Marquez will never fight Provo, after looking very 40-ish, and drug free against Bradley. Pacquiao will destroy Rios, and Pac deserves, Bradley, Marquez or Mayweather. Let Matthysse, Rios, Alvarado, Judah, Mags, Berto, Peterson all have one another.

You can't put Rio's in the same category as Garcia. Rio's is a brawler with a weak skill set who's best opponent to date has been Alverado and we all know what happened to him tonight. Besides, Rio's career will be toast when Pac gets done with him. Danny Garcia is in a whole other league and has earned the right to fight an A Lister next like FMM.. The fight that Ruslan deserves is a rematch with Bradley In Boxing ya gotta earn it while also working the politics of the matchmaking game. It's NOT that easy.

Dude he didn't fight Floyd right after that fight with Maidana,he fought 4 more guys and the last guy he fought was Berto before Money May, so get your facts straight.

CLOWN... the comparison is that they both fight relentless, they both hurt you with either hand, they both have a vicious body attacks, they both come forward with bad intentions, and they both impose their will on you to lay down and quit, or take one helluva beating. That's plenty to say, that they have similar styles. Now if you want to be ****** and say one grows their hair longer than the other, one has a better jab than the other, one has fuller lips than the other... then you're just an idiot.
