AND Lets Also Add.... Rios Had 2 Fights With Alavarado; Won 1, Lost 1

Everyone is giving Rios WAAAAAAAY too much credit as this fighter who "is going to make Pacquiao pay".... as though he has this long, dominate history and reputation of walking thru guys. He's fought WHO???? Won a fight with Alvarado, and lost a fight to Alvarado. WHO is Alvarado???? Nobody knew anything of Alvarado really until he and Rios stood in front of each other and traded wild hooks. The next fight Alvarado was just coached better, he fought smarter, had a little more movement, and Rios was done. Alvarado had fought and beaten NOBODY. Rios had fought and beaten NOBODY. These two B-Level fighters are gonna be in for a rude awakening, because Provodnikov and Pacquaio will take your heart away and make you quit. They are bigger, stronger, Provo new on the US scene, gave "champion" Tim Bradley the beatdown of his life! Pacquiao has fought the best of the best, and ahead on all scorecards, got caught with a Hail Mary from Marquez who never took a drug test, and visually was greatly beefed up. There's a BIG gap in talent between Alvarado & Rios compared to Provo & Pacquaio!

But his outta-the-ring lifestyle was gonna be his downfall with all the gamblinmg, whoring, late nights in the poolhall, drinking, etc. And I vividly remember Roach being furious at the lack of interest Pac had in the camp for the Barrera rematch.
      Wtf?

I've been watching this sport for more than twenty years.

I remember those early days when he was doing crazy stuff outside of the ring, when he was considered among the best featherweights. He wasn't quite considered a top P4P fighter at that point, because he was viewed as a one handed fighter albeit one with speed and power.

I'm referring to the time prior to the Marquez 2 fight when they had to keep him from training too much. He wasn't devoting as much time to politics at that point or at least you didn't hear about it being distraction. He was probably still chasing skirts in the Philippines at that point, but he didn't yet have the worldwide superstar status after retiring DLH. Then the rumors that he got buzzed by Khan, and that he wasn't doing Ariza's training regiment, so on and so forth. Whatever he was missing usually got straightened out once Roach got him back to Wildcard.

He's not training there at all this time. He's at home, with limited sparring and no strength trainer, except for Buboy Fernandez. He just got blasted by the kind of knockout that ends careers and his comeback fight is against a younger, much hungrier boxer. Altogether different factors than the ones attributed to the craziness of youth.

You're right, he's had an inconsistent history in training, but during that period when everyone was debating whether it was Pac or FMJr at the top, you didn't see as much of that stuff.

Don't question me my predictions are nearly flawless, the only prediction recently I got wrong was the nonito donaire vs. Rigo fight. But that is only because Nonito fought a ****** game plan they were both counter punchers and Nonito was ****** to take the lead, he should have forced Rigo to attack him but Nonito played into the crowd boos and wanted to impress and be a star.

Lol... Your not a very intelligent man. If you think Rios has a slight chance at victory you are mistaken.

Pacquiao will not lose via a body shot, and he will not get ko'd by rios. Rios doesn't hit hard enough to one shot him the way marquez did, and pacquiao doesn't have a history of having a weak chin. Bottom line. What marquez did was amazing, and a once in a lifetime punch. Rios doesn't have it in him. He was beaten by alvarado, and he's going to be Ko'd by pac.

        My prediction,

Pacquiao wins via referee stoppage around the 7th round.

Ahhh, Pac crashed the P4P ratings after his first fight with Barerra, which was his featherweight debut. So he was very much considered P4P as a featherweight.

As for the "when he was considered a one handed fighter with speed and power." When did he stop being a one handed fighter with speed and power?

As for all the excuses about his distractions. I think they're just that, excuses. There's nothing wrong with Pac. He hasn't lost all that much in terms of physical gifts. The only thing that's happen to Pac is that during his lil Pacmania stretch, he was fighting less than elite oposition and was being glorified for it because the guys were bigger than him. But once he resumed fighting elite guys, who simply happen to be his size, he no longer was this god he was viewed as. And then the excuses come. He's not focused. He's not the same fighter. Blah, blah, blah. His fight against Margarito was one of the savage beaings I've seen laid on a fighter. And it was well documented that Pac was bull****tin' in training. If he's bull****'d his way through training for Rios. It probably won't matter much because Rios sux.

To be fair and accurate, Hatton showed lower than before punch resistance after being KO'd by Floyd, not Pac. In his fight immediately after Floyd, he fought a tune-up against the blown up lightweight Juan Lazcano, and was badly buzzed at least twice.that raised my eye-brow because Lazcano couldn't crack an egg as a lightweight. Obviously, Hatton fought Malignaggi in his next fight, so the chin issues were on the backburner. But personally, I picked Pac to KO Hatton in the first round because of what I'd seen against Lazcano.

BTW, I picked Rigondeaux to beat Donaire. And it was mostly because ofwhat I'd seen from Donaire in his fight with Narvaez. Narvaez made Donaire look amateurish. But, hedidnt have the power to keep Donaire off him. Plus, I don't think he really wanted to be in there with Flash. I figured Rigo would have more success because he could take what Narvaez did, combined with superior defense and counterpunching, and make relatively easy work of Flash.

GTFOH with that bull****. Rios is a ****in' bum. Stop trying to glorify him to make Pac look better. If Pac does struggles, its a clear sign that his days as an elite fighter are likely over. And will have nothing to do with Rios being anything other than what he is, a ****in' bum.
