Comments Thread For: Roach Admits His Concern About One Man in Team Rios

FREDDIE Roach is never known to have backed down both as a prized fighter mixing it up with the best during his time, and as a trainer trying to parry an opposing guru’s rudeness.

While he has showed utmost respect to their upcoming opponent’s trainer Robert Garcia during their Asian press tour, Roach feels the 2011 Trainer of the Year awardee is not the man to dread in terms of preparing Brandon Rios sharpen his boxing skills.

Roach believes that Garcia’s father Eduardo could impart meaningful techniques to Rios once they slug it out with Manny Pacquiao on November 24 in Macau. [Click Here To Read More]

LOL Told you guys its a wrap! Roach already intimidated by Eduardo Garcia the father or Robert. Roach knows Eduardo Garcia is no joke, he is a great trainer who is technical unlike his son Robert who mainly likes more offensive style. Roach knows whats up especially is comments about Mikey who became more of a counter puncher when he went to Eduardo to train him.

If you guys watched Elie's videos Rios has Big G in his corner, he said that he is the secret weapon, and Rios has been watching nothing but Fernando Vargas tapes, because Vargas was a ferocious boxer puncher, Vargas was not a dumb brawler he used intelligent aggression.

Pac will get ko'd by a stiff counter jab or a counter right hand or hook to the body.

we seriously are seeing the end of pac, he has been in so many wars, has gone up in so many weight classes to fight bigger guys, even now rios will outweigh him, he may have cemented his legacy as this generations greatest boxer (also fighter of the decade) but sadly it has caught up with him

we will be witnessing the end of of a legend in november, R.I.P PACQUIAO

What Roach should be worried about is whether or not Pacquiao is actually having a serious training camp. No real strength and conditioning coach, as well as no real sparring partners is a recipe for disaster and I just don't think that he really has the desire to fight any longer. At this point I believe he feels it's obligatory because he carries the weight of an entire country on his back and wants to save face for that knockout by Marquez. My gut tells me that the Pacquiao of old is gone, which I hate to admit, but the minute he began to dictate what he did or didn't want to do in training camp, he started to decline. Compare the old 24/7 episodes where he was knocking people out and you'll see the difference. If there's drama in the Pacquiao camp this time, you'll see Rios punish him in the ring. If all is right and he's dedicated, we might see a different fight.
Say what you will about FMJr, but he's a straight up gym rat who commits to his training and that's why he's still on top.

All he has to do is land one hard punch and its a wrap. Pacman cannot take a punch.

Only way Pac wins is by decision, he has to fight the perfect fight but you think he can avoid getting hit? Pac will not be able to keep Rios away from him, Pac has no power at 147 even Margarito said he doesn't hit hard.

GTFOH with that bull**** that Pac's the best fighter of his generation. Right now, a very solid argument can be made that's he's not even #2.
