Amir Khan does not have a bad chin!!!!

Khan has a bad chin in my opinion. Maidana looked like he was going to KO him but the ref kept breaking them when there was no clinch. Maidana never hit him wth clean shots. Prescott took him out in one round and Khan refuses to rematch him. Diaz probably would have KOed him if the ref had not stopped the action to warn Diaz for taunting??? I never heard of a no taunting rule before. Garcia took him out. Once Khan is hurt he never recovers. If some people think khan has a sturdy jaw that's their choice. I choose to believe his chin is well below average for the champion level and unless they avoid hard punchers with fast hands Khan will suffer more KO defeats.

He's been stopped once in 5 years. 2 in his career. Same as Margarito and less times than guys like Pac and Cotto.
khan doesn't have a great chin, but he isn't "chinny" by any means
he's just an awful defensive fighter, similar to Berto

Without Roach he isnt the same fighter. With Roach he would have handled Diaz with ease.
It is what it is. Virgil is just goingvto get him KOd more because the offense he had eith roach was his defense because he was so fast. Khan hesisitating is just going to make him worse. Virgil is a good trainer but its like that old guy trying to tame Kirkland with more defense before he fought Ishida.

I do think that the idea of him having a glass jaw is highly over exaggerated. It definitely isn't a great chin by any means, but to his credit, he's only been put out by hard hitters, and he did eat that big overhand from Maidana and still pushed through.

Part of the issue with Khan is not just his bad defense but bad offense.
There is no point in throwing a 3-5 punch combination if Khan closes his eyes and pity-pats the other guy with weak ineffective punches. Khan needs to sit down on his punches more and throw just enough so as to know where he is at all times in relation to what the opponent is doing (ie. countering or not).
Good quality, 1 or 2 punch combination and then quickly moves out of harms way will do wonders for his chin (problems)
If you look at Garcia, Diaz .... Khan didn't see the punch because he was too busy throwing combination punches and not reflecting on the possibility that a counter punch is coming his way.
