Poor bastard. I remember the commentators saying the same about Duran when he was knocked cold by Hearns.

And Jones Jnr by Johnson & Tarver. And Danny Green.

And Donald Curry's "English Chin" when Lloyd Honeyghan beat the living daylights out of him.

    Damn that English Chin.

He doesn't clinch, he fouls. He has the trifecta ..poor punch resistance, doesn't recover well, and his poor IQ has him trying to hurt them back.

And why is that? Those light punchers had him backing up. Maidana Garcia and Prescott had him on ***** Street

            English chin, eh?

I think Khan has a Puerto Rican chin, because it hardly ever shows up to work.

Fouls how? What saved him vs Maidana was him moving and being able to clinch.

If I remember right vs Garcia the dumbass tried to fight back. And of course he didn't make it out.

The fact of the matter is, he doesn't have a good chin. Is it necessarily a glass jaw? Probably not. I admit, his defense isn't the best, nor does he make the best decisions in the ring. I believe that just exposes his below average chin though. Unfortunately, he isn't the hardest to get hit, and when he does get caught, it doesn't usually end up good.

Forget the chin, how is Amir Khan being described as "tough" or "has heart?" What has he done in the ring to overcome any adversity... The kind of adversity that makes a fighter tough, or show heart. Khan is loaded with talent but like the OP says he is limited in between the ears. He was thoroughly out boxing Maidana before he got careless and got caught. How did he not see everything slow as a snail Maidana was throwing at him? On paper he was a better boxer than Peterson. Yet Peterson was able to out tough him and take the title from him. Call it home cooking or 'roids are whatever but he was beat by a boxer with more heart that night. As for his chin, if it looks like duck it's a duck.

                    Mr Harwri,

I think your post contradicts itself. A fighter on roids doesn't have more heart than a clean fighter.

I can't comment on any individual fight but you did & it doesn't add up.

How did I contradict myself? I can name quite a few admitted steroid users who got starched in the ring. Steroids doesn't give you heart. I'm in no way a PEDs advocate but not all wins can be attributed the use of PEDs if it's present. Besides, the PEDs detected in Peterson was minimal at best. It's a good excuse but just maybe Peterson had a stronger will than Amir Can't. (Ok, even I have to admit that one was pretty bad...)
