The OP is dabbling is semantics. Anything that contributes to a boxer getting KD'd, stunned, wobbled, or KO'd makes him week chinned.

By the OP's definition JuanMa Lopez has an elite chin because man does he absorb bomb after bomb before finally going down. It's irrelevant if Amir is dumb, has bad defense, or bad balance. If he goes down often he has a bad chin. Period end of story.
