Also, you know nothing about these lawsuit.

Zabala has been crying since late 2009. He needs the money and is using Bob as leverage.

He gets paid $3 million and he shuts up. Zabala only cares about his own pockets.

Canelo is staying at Golden Boy, there is a long-term contract. Eight fights. Three plans are planned for this year.

Expect a huge year from Golden Boy! More 2+ million PPVs coming your way. More packed cards. I promise you that much.

when you sign a contract like Canelo did with All Star Boxing but sign with Golden Boy later, that called a breach of contract

when you have a breach of contract it makes all subsequent contracts illegal because legally you are bound by the original contract.

maybe you don't know but lawsuits can take years. from the information available it seems like the judge is favoring the All Star Boxing's suit because they are allowing him to pursue punitive damages and they've thrown out Golden Boy's counter suit. so it's looking pretty good that the judges will rule in Zabala favor in the next few months.

and so you seriously think Canelo is 2 million buys ALONE? what Mayweather had nothing to do with those numbers?

yeah people are really going to pay for Canelo vs Ortiz or Lara or Quillin?

Cotto has said multiple times he wants to end his career with Top Rank and Cotto said Golden Boy and Top Rank would have to sit down and work it out, which means it isn't going to happen.

name a fight Golden Boy can offer that would sell more than fights against Cotto, Martinez, Chavez or GGG?

and don't even say a Mayweather rematch because Mayweather outclassed him so badly they couldn't even hope to reach 2 million buys again with that fight.

Sorry the truth hurts so much but it's looking like Arum has totally outplayed Schaefer and Golden Boy.

Again...Canelo packed the Alamodome. Against Austin Trout. Why wouldn't people pay to see him fight those guys you mentioned?

Because he lost to Floyd and that was a big part of Canelo's draw (being a threat to Floyd). Dont get me wrong he should still be one of the biggest stars in the sport when he comes back.

according to the ESPNdeportes article Zabala is willing to drop the suit if Canelo signs with Top Rank.

if he doesn't I'm guess Canelo and GBP will have to pay Zabala punitive damages and who knows exactly how much the judge will award. I'm bettering Zabala will recieve consequential damages which means he'd get his promoter % for Canelo's fights for the past 4 years plus other damages like loss of business and all that stuff.

when you think about it Canelo could be losing millions by staying with GBP if the judges awards in Zabala's favor, when according to the article it seems likely

of course people will pay to see him fight for $10 $15 at the alamodome, that fight's live gate was I think around $1 million, which wouldn't even cover his purse.

I was talking about PPV fights. I don't see people paying $65-70 to see him fight Lara.

I was just saying Cotto, Martinez, Chavez and GGG are bigger PPV fights, bigger than anything GBP has to offer at the moment.

You do realize that will take like a decade to play out and Zabala doesn't have the money to fight GBP for that long he will say uncle before them~
