Are you crazy????? You should know that ONLY Pacquiao is allowed to turn down any testing in his heyday of Boxing and only when he starts to slow down, get Ko'd and look normal...and then he can take the test!

Pacquiao is not held by the same standards of other boxers.

Ducketts and RadioRaheem: you are on an island when it comes to VADA. Their 24/7/365 tests and protocol IS the standard. I won't even get into all the protocols, ratios, and chain of command issues where USADA fails, Period, end of story. You choose to continue to spout diarrhea about VADA and in the end all you do is make yourself sound foolish and ignorant. You do it at your own behest. Do a little research fellas.

As for privacy rights: when you put on a public athletic event where the buying public is purchasing tickets and ppvs and betting millions in sports books you as a fighter waive your right to medical privacy. The buying and betting public has the right to know whether or not you are creating an unfair advantage by busing PEDs

That said, what Rodriguez is doing is bullsh***. All these requests for tests should be drawn up and included in the contracts. For him to drop this at the press conference once everything has been signed is simply bush league or an attempt to get into Ward's head.

Lastly, coming off of shoulder surgery I am pretty confident that Ward has some kind of Steroid in his system right now and that's why he's afraid to test. Whenever anyone goes under the knife for a procedure like that they are prescribed legal steroids. That said, when you sign up for random testing you divulge that info and provide medical proof. When tested there will be an accepted ratio of that substance in your body that would have been prescribed for rehab. Yet still the tester would look for other forms of PEDs that if clean wouldn't show up.

I'm disappointed in Ward in that he knows he'll be perceived guilty unless he submits in some shape or form so I'd hope if he didn't at least offer to be tested by an accredited lab preferably VADA even if he's not contractually obligated.

Lastly, Edwin is about to get the beat down of his life for these bush league tactics. Ward is fuming.

As for Steve Kim... He's pathetic. To throw stuff out all willy nilly on twitter is irresponsible. He's a pathetic boxing journalist and he's in the bay so he'll have some explaining to do the next time he makes his way from San Jose to Oakland. I'm sure Hunter is eager to get at his a$$ after this fiasco he's helping perpetuate.

        .
This was exactly my thinking as well. That's what happened to James Toney when he had a positive test.

In the blue corner, you have the Floyd fans defending Ward. Making up weak excuses like it wasnt in the contract and and the unknown fighter shouldnt make demands of the champion. Both poor reasons to not take the tests.

In the red corner you got the Pacquiao fans who think its ok to judge other fighters now that pac is taking the tests. Guess what? Its now 2013 and its taken pac 4 years to come around to taking tests. Why? Because he got KTFO!!!!

There is no excuse for not wanting to show you are a clean fighter. None!

Both USADA and VADA are fine. Neither organisation will try to ruin their reputation in order to protect a certain client. Only crazy conspiracy theorists and bull**** fans of certain fighters/promoters put up these ****** arguments.

VADA is not the standard for anything.

Ward is suspect in a lot of your minds. I'm glad.

I'll be back in his thread when Ward is eventually found guilty and I'll admit that you guys were right to suspect him of PEDS use.

What is the excuse for refusing for the 3rd time now? Suspect.

Exactly but you can see in some fans eyes some boxers can do no wrong.

It has nothing to do with being a Floyd can lol that's how things work. Like I said when morales was champ Danny couldn't do anything. Then in the rematch Danny wanted testing and they got it and morales was caught. Same thing with ruslan vs Alvarado. I'm picked ruslan to knock mike out but he can't tell the champ what to do. Even if "its just testing"
