Why doesn't Pac get the same credit for the Cotto win as Floyd's win over Canelo?

It's not cause you're making a PAC thread it's cause you just joined this site and already made 2 Floyd PAC threads (signs of an already banned alt)Comment

How about walking away from the biggest fight because you got asked to take a test. RED FLAG!!!!Comment

PAC fans will never own up to that just continue to say Floyd was ducking by asking for testing. By that logic then PAC was trying to duck rios by asking for testing right?Comment

Alvarez is a skin and bone 154lber. He looks shredded at 160 FFS. People always put too much emphasis on ''what a fighter was coming off of'' just smoke and mirrors. Unless a guy got destroyed in his last fight it means nothing. If you're good enough you're good enough, if you're not you're not. And your excuses are garbage, as much as I like Alvarez he was a student and had only faced a few B graders, he simply wasn't ready for such a big step up and I hope he bounces back.PAC gets credit for the win, it's probably his third best win...if you are asking is the win better than Floyd over Alvarez it is not for several simple reasons
Timing...Miguel was coming off a lose by stoppage and a close hard fought win....psychologically he was not quite at his best
The stakes...they fought for a meaningless trinket whereas Mayweather beat Alvarez for the lineal title....at the time Margarito was the number one guy and roach didn't want PAC to get near Mosley...the win showed he was a contender at welter Floyd showed he was the champ at 154
Both good wins for PAC and moneyComment

Lineal fight at a catchweight? Looks ridiculous for spending all that time criticizing Pac for it.PAC gets credit for the win, it's probably his third best win...if you are asking is the win better than Floyd over Alvarez it is not for several simple reasons

Bravo TS, why indeed.
Cotto was a much better win and Pacquiao put on a much better performance than mayweather ever has. He came up in weight and ****ing knocked cotto out.
Mayweather has never done anything that dramatic, or put on a fight as hard pacquiao fought for that one. Don't forget how much bigger cotto is.
Also, why is nobody talking about how drained Canelo look? *****s like to talk about how drained Cotto was, when he looked like he was in peak form, well i've never seen canelo look so ****ing tired and gassed in my life, even at the beginning of the fight.
If anyone was weight drained, it was canelo. He came in at 170 in his last fight and mayweather took away 2 more pounds.Last edited by DARKSEID; 10-17-2013, 04:20 PM.Comment

But he's being tested no?
So you don't have a point.
Why hasn't Floyd ever received T/E ratio results from his testing?

I agree with most but Margarito wasn't #1 at the time. Margarito had been destroyed by Mosley on January 2009. By the time Pacquiao fought Cotto in November 2009, Margarito had long been gone from the 147 picture, suspended and shamed. The top guys at 147 in October 2009(one month prior to the Pac-Cotto fight) was Mosley, Cotto, Berto, Clottey, Collazo.PAC gets credit for the win, it's probably his third best win...if you are asking is the win better than Floyd over Alvarez it is not for several simple reasons
