Why don't networks get behind the Sweetsciene anymore?

Too much politics and fighters asking for unreasonable purses. Shady managers. The nature of the sport is risky, if a main fighter gets injured the event can get called off. Would that ever happen with other sports? Greedy promoters. Lack of unique/awesome characters. We need more SRLs/DLHs, people to catch the casual fans eyes, people to attract new fans in to the sport.
