i had it close but even though it was competitive that doesnt mean that it cant be a wide score. I can see it being wide for bradley. nothing wrong with that score card. he controlled the whole fight besides the first round
Why does Lederman always have to exaggerate with his scorecards?

A 2012 poster talking about what division was good in 2009. If you knew anything about boxing in 2009, you'd know the LW division was one of the hottest in 2009. JMM just took it by storm, knocking out Casamayor and Diaz, who BTW have never been knocked out prior to that. It was after JMM put the 135 division on a leash, that finally 168 took over.Goes to show just how strong the lightweight division was back then...
The last thing I remember from Diaz was Malinaggi rocking him around the ring.
That list of opponents is pretty weak once you remove Pacquiao. Do you even realize how old and (more importantly) shot Casamayor and Barrera were when Marquez fought them? As it is actually scored the the Barrera fight for Barrera, I thought he was clearly robbed in that fight. Salido was an unknown journeyman when Marquez fought him (even the current Salido wouldn't be a big win).

Scoring was hard for this fight..
I gave jmm 1,3,9,10,11,12
I thought he swept the last for and probably had a draw,,,,
very tough fight to score, rounds 3,4, 9, 10 could have gone either way....
If you look at some of the posts, the rounds given to each guy is all over the place, I think bradley did enough to winComment

Lederman seems like he scores the round by whoever is busier or lands the most shots regardless of who landed the most significant shots or who was hurt.Comment

Exactly in what way am I biased? That makes zero sense.
In one fight, where people claim robbery, I give Bradley the benefit of the doubt and had it a draw.
In anther fighter, which some people had Bradley winning wide, I don't agree and had it a draw.
So who am I being biased towards? Are you just using the word without even knowing what it means?
trolls are a dime a dozen but the militant ******s are always the more entertaining ones. T18Z never fails to entertain.Comment

You think I started following boxing in 2012?! Way to jump to a conclusion.A 2012 poster talking about what division was good in 2009. JMM just took it by storm, knocking out Casamayor and Diaz, who BTW have never been knocked out prior to that. It was after JMM put the 135 division on a leash, that finally 168 took over.
I already told you why his resume (bar Pacquiao) is overrated. I don't need to explain anything else to you since you completely failed at countering my argument.
Marquez going life and death (twice) w/ Juan Diaz and beating an old Casamayor is nothing to be proud of. Any division where Juan Diaz is the #1 contender has got to be a **** division. Period.Comment

Why does Lederman always exaggerate his scorecards, you ask? Well, just to piss you off son!

Nah, but on a serious note (and I haven't seen this fight yet), Lederman has always been this way when it comes to certain fighters. My first eye opener about Lederman and how biased his judging was for certain fighters was listening to him and seeing his scorecards for a couple of Devon Alexanders fights. I remember his scorecard was so off for the Kotelnik (or maybe Matthysse, can't remember - probably both) fight, that he went in hard on air defending it because he was catching some heat for how wide he had it scored. Listening to him score (and then defend) some of Devon's early fights was disgusting, I couldn't take him seriously after that.
He clearly (like the other HBO commentators) already has his mind made up about certain fighters and the way they fight, before the fight even starts (also a LOT like Teddy Atlas). They've spent weeks before the fight, giving anyone and everyone whose asked, their opinions about how the fight is going to go. They're clearly biased (IMO) about what they think they're seeing and their views on the fight, before the fight even starts.
If I don't already have the fight on MUTE (because HBOs commentary has gotten so attrocious) when Lederman shouts his "OOOKAY JIM", long drawn out schpeel about how "this fight is being controlled by xxxxxx simply using his jab while coming foward" - I now ALWAYS mute old Harry's speeches. I used to find it hillarious whenever he was in on a long ramble and there would end up being something really exciting happening in the fight while he was talking, and when he would end up getting interrupted by the action, he would sound so irritated and just keep on talking about how so-and-so was winning every round easily (while meanwhile his guy was getting pummeled as he spoke).
I had high hopes that he'd go away when Larry did, but then again I'm just afraid that they'll replace him with that puppet Weisfeld.
/end of ramble (doing my best Harold Lederman speechathon)
