Don't know too many serious boxing fans that insist Marquez is "greater" than Pacquiao. It's a classic case of one fighter having the other's number/having the perfect style for an opponent, but there's plenty in the ring that Manny can do and Marquez can't. I would say Manny has the ability to deal with the broadest range of styles, even if he isn't as technically sound 100% of the time.

yes but he also has more dimensions to him, he can fight off the back foot when guys get super aggressive like Margarito and he can press fights like he did to a boxer puncher like Marco Barrera.

Listen to Teddy Atlas here, he describes JMM, he said JMM is a counter puncher people were misled by the ko of Manny and thought he was a aggressor he isn't he needs someone to come forward on him. This is why I laugh when Floyd fanboys say because jmm beat pacman that Floyd will beat Pac easy, well Pacman looked good against a slick crafty boxer in Bradley, so its only a certain style that gives pac problems which is the matador balls to the wall counter style of Marquez.

                yup.

Its why I picked Bradley to beat JMM, because I know that JMM cannot pressure fight at all he is not a typical Mexican fighter, if you watch the fight he kept trying to do his back stepping style but Bradley was forcing him to come to the middle often.

This is why JMM was considered boring by Mexicans, he always backed up in fights he was super boring before he fought Pacman, he really never had the Mexican fans on his side the way Morales and Barrera did.

He's not, that's what being a foil means. MAB/Jones, RJJ/Tarver, Ali/Norton+Frazier... A guy that fights out of his league against a single fighter

Because that one dimension is what gives Pac problems. Have you ever heard of styles make fights?

JMM just has the style that gives Pacman hell.

Pacman plays right into his style, aggressive fighter and JMM is a matador.

I study a lot of fights its why my prediction ratio is pretty high.

I picked Bradley over JMM, JMM over Pacquiao by ko, Lucas ko Dallas Jr, Klitschko over Povetkin, Cotto knocking out Delvin, Floyd out boxing Canelo, and Danny Garcia beating Lucas, just to name a few.

                    I study the fights unbiasedly.

Pacquiao is one dimensional. Marquez is two dimensional. Bradley is three dimensional. Mayweather is muliti dimensional.

                      1. Marquez beat Pacquiao.

                      2. Bradley beat Marquez.

                      3. Mayweather beat all three.

It's checkers not chess... Really it is.
