Tyson always struggled against a good, strong jab.

I do love prime Mike, but Lewis wins that fight 9/10 times. Prime Mike never fought anyone half as good as Lennox.

Tyson had trouble with bigger opponents and Lennox is as big as they get and again very skillful. Sure Tyson has a good punchers chance but skills wise, size wise and cool-headedness, Lewis hands down.

Lewis would take the early rounds and by the late rounds Lewis would KO a frustrated and not-so-cool-headed Tyson.
          I disagree.

There is no way Lewis, a cautios fighter in his prime, comes out strong enough to win the early rounds.

It is a 50/50 fight , but Tyson's biggest chance is to knock Lewis out within 5 or 6 rounds. The version of Tyson who fought and lived with D'Amato was fast , extremely aggressive, disciplined. Mike used his jab, bobbed , weaved, worked angles. That said, he was unexperienced, and would have problems in fighting 12 competitive rounds.

Lewis would need to spoil, clinch and keep the fight at a low pace for at least 5 rounds if he wants a W, he didn't have the kind of style, nor the chin to go out all guns ablaze against a guy like Tyson.

It'd play out in a similar fashion than the Holmes fight, with the difference that Lewis, although not as talented in my opinion, was still much better than that version of Holmes, and his jab might allow him to survive the early aggression.

I voted for Lewis, but it's a great match up that could go either way.

This fight would have happened, as Lennox was being talked about as a future challenger, when Tyson was destroying everyone and running out of challengers.
Its just Lennox built himself up really slowly and methodically. I mean Evander holyfield didn't even get a chance to fight Tyson pre prison sentence.

Against who in his prime did he struggle against? At his best he was brilliant at slipping and countering the jab. Lewis's jab was mostly a pawing jab to set up his right hand.
Only Douglas gave him real trouble wuth a great jab, and Lewis didnt throw nearly as often of with the same confidence.

. Mike had that bully mentality, and 6'6" 245lb of cool and relaxed lennox is just not the typical bully target

Lennox would need to be cautious early on, but also grab mike when he gets close and manhandle him, by round 5 it's lewis fight

I think Tyson needing to intimidate opponents is partly a myth.

He did after prison because he knew he wasnt the same fighter and it made the fight easier. But Berbick, Holmes, Tucker, they werent so intimidated. Tyson intimidated opponents because of how good he was.

We have all seen the footage of tyson crying before his amateur fight, then going out and destroying him. Tyson was used to feeling fear. i think he wouldnt of been so intimidated just because Lewis plays it cool.
