Tyson has way too many fan boys who d**k ride him just because it's "Mike Tyson". Lennox is way too big and skilled, like someone else said id have him 8 times out of 10 in this matchup.

I cant see Tyson being KO'd with one punch like Lewis. He took a huge beating from big punchers like Lewis and Holyfield before being stopped.

I cant remember Tyson being really outboxed and kept on the end of a jab. At his best his pressure and countering always had opponents scared and on the back foot.

I think Lewis gets drawn into a fight and prime Mike's combos were devastating.

But also i can see Lewis smothering Tyson on the inside, and winning rounds late, even stopping Tyson. But i slightly favour Tyson to win early.

Lennox stayed away from this country while the good fighters were in their prime for a reason

Tyson does have many fan boys, but at the same time, many people here are just saying 'Lewis was skilled'. Well, so was Tyson. In fact, id say many people forget just how skillful he was.

It comes down to attributes. Could Lewis really keep Tyson at bay? Could tyson slip the jab and get close? I say yes. Im not sure if Lewis was fast enough. His bulk would wear Tyson down and tire him out, but also Tyson was so fast on his feet he could maybe move in quicker than Lewis could move away or clinch.

I agree lewis is worlds above tucker and bonecrusher but I still cant help seeing tyson countering with a huge combination and rocking lewis and following up. im 55/45 in favor of tyson by kayo
Tyson "looked" unbeatable but then Buster Douglas proved he was beatable and Holyfield cemented that.

Lewis was all round better than any of the opponents that Tyson KOed early on. Lewis pitched a shutout once the fight happened. Yes, the earlier version was more dangerous but Lewis's size tamed him then and would tame the earlier version too.

Objectively speaking, Tyson had the KO capability and chance to change any fight around but when you compare who Tyson fought early on to Lewis, there is no comparison.

The Mike Tyson that was the youngest heavyweight champion of the world would beat a prime Lewis. Once Lewis felt one of those bombs he would be running for his life and even though Tyson was the smaller man his head movement and quickness would have allowed him to get to Lewis.
In his prime there weren't too many heavyweights all time that could have withstood what Tyson brought to the table.

I like Mike early if he can maintain pressure and get Lennox moving backwards.
If not than Lennox would take over the later rounds.
I watched them spar when they were kids, Mike handled Lennox easily the fist day. The second day Lennox found his range and did well. The third day things got a little out of hand and Lennox left! Lennox accounted himself very well! Ray.
