Cotto gets a big knockout win vs a tune up and all of a sudden that makes him "ready" to KO Floyd in a rematch? Ever heard of looking good vs a certain level of competition...of course Cotto will look great vs a journeyman and lose to the best boxer in the world...just natural...that is why Delvin was chosen...if Cotto is all of a sudden this renewed, unstoppable machine, he should avenge his Trout loss

Cotto deserves a rematch based on his performance against Floyd nothing else matters. Toughest fight for Floyd, he himself admits it, close fight and it was very entertaining, very lucrative for Floyd so why not?

I keep hearing how Floyd would have dominated had he not decided to fight on the ropes (like he had a choice), so I want Floyd to prove that it was his decision and not Cotto forcing and keeping Floyd on the ropes like it happened.

Anyways the Delvin win means nothing but why not take advantage of it now that a lot have Cotto so high because of the KO, out of Floyd's choices I have this rematch 2nd on the list.

Na I thought it was awesome.. I was excited. No one has done that to delvin before, Miguel look good, He look bad in wins against ricardo and foreman but this win he look good and delvin is the same caliber fighters as those guys

Roach or not, that version of Cotto would stop Floyd. Go ahead and put down Delvin Rodriguez, but Delvin Rodriguez would actually give Floyd a good fight. Don't diminish Cotto's performance.

I disagree to a degree on the delvin win meaning nothing. Its not a marquee win/name on cottos resume, but the performance does hold significance. A shot cotto (or anybody else) doesn't do that to Rodriguez. An elite cotto does (and did). This performance proved that cotto is still on another level, the elite level. May not win them all, but can compete with the best and still pull out victory's.

Not sure why all the hate on roach from everybody. If there's anything roach s gonna do, is bring back vintage cotto. And we saw that Saturday night. An offensive bully concentrated on digging hooks to the body....when was the last time we saw that from him?
