Floyd Sr is a really good trainer as is Roach, but in Sr's mind he's the only good trainer and Floyd Jr the only good fighter. What a jealous mofo.

Even though Delvin isn't that good Cotto still looked like he was back to his pre Margacheato style, attacking the body viciously. Pedro is a good trainer but he had Cotto boxing more and even though Cotto is a good boxer he's much more affective when he fights the way he did under Roach.
I don't think anybody expected Cotto to end Delvin in 2rounds and a couple seconds. Delvin is normally a solid and durable opponent but Cotto wasn't playing nice in the sandbox that day. Can you guys tell me if anybody else ever stopped Delvin so early before.

You must not have saw his fight with floyd he fought the exact same and he only won maybe 4 rounds plus he stood in the pocket if he fights him with sr it will be a worse whooping ...sorry cotto your my guy but I just need yo bring haters back to reality

First fight 9-3? Mayweather only won 5 clear rounds (the last 3 rounds were his) vs Cotto's 3. The other four rounds were extremelly close and super competitve. If you have a 9-3 is because you gave all the competitive rounds to Mayweather. Cotto should have won 4 rounds in all cards at least. Five rounds would have done him moral justice, because it was him who brought the fight to mayweather and made him land only 26% of his punches!

He won four rounds that were close ill give you that bu c'mon everyone said he clearly lost people just were exciting floyd stood in pocket and had a little blood whoa he's not. God anyone can get hit 1 punch is all it takes. Next fight if he fight like he did Canelo shut out.

This ain't even about Roach so much, Roach simply reminded Cotto that he needed to commit more, go to the body, use his right hand and use his offense to help his defense. Cotto was having an identity crisis, he might have fallen in love with his boxing ability after the Margarito rematch, it's time he goes back to walking his opponents down and slowing them down, which is how he came up lets remember. People are looking at it the wrong way.

You just described Floyd. He won't face anyone who is consistently good over a period of time. He fights them after one big win.

Roach or not, that version of Cotto would stop Floyd. Go ahead and put down Delvin Rodriguez, but Delvin Rodriguez would actually give Floyd a good fight. Don't diminish Cotto's performance.

Quite honestly, Cotto did what he was supposed to do. Not bad for a guy who was supposedly "shot" just last week. This is good for the promotion for a potential rematch because there aren't too many options out the for Floyd. Martinez/Cotto happens first though.
