How is nothing controversial about that? It was not the KO cold which was controversial, it was the fact Pacquaio was the one who was actually outboxing Marquez, which is not usually the case. Pacquaio was up 2 points (assuming the round ended), then take into consideration Marquez physical state, it was a controversial way of victory, because it leaves a what if moment clear in peoples minds.

Giving rise or likely to give rise to public disagreement. That is the definition of controversial. Now if everyone thought Marquez would knock Pacquaio out again in fight 5, you'd have no controversy, but you do, because as I see it people still give Pacquaio a strong chance of winning, because of how he performed in that fight - public disagreement - controversial.

Wrong if the round ended Pacquiao would be down by one point. The fight is not controversial either, one fighter got knocked out ( cold) so it is pretty easy to say that the fighter who was still awake won the fight. What ifs exist only in the minds of people in denial.

Wrong questions.....Hope you don't doom me to potential housefires but ask yourself WHY....WHY did Marquez decide to fight with that strategy? Maybe because as he pointed out in the past, there was no way he felt he could get a fair decision. Marquez already outboxed Pacquio... numerous times

watching that fight, i was thinking...looks like pac will finally have a decisive win over jmm with the way he was outboxing marquez until that fateful last seconds of the 6th round...bell already rang for the last 10 seconds, pac dropped his guard and attacked jmm and boom...very ****** move by pac.

very big mistake by PAC. It was cool to see JMM describe the way he was waiting for the opening on 24/7 and how he felt when it landed. Good for him but I think they should fight again. Can u imagine if part 5 ends up being another classic???

There is a group of pac fans who only talk amongst themselves who would have you believe the 4th fight was needed. it wasn't. Those same posters agreed with Manny that he had nothing more to prove with JMM, than cosigned the 4th fight.

The only people who are begging for a 5th fight are disgruntled Manny fans like yourself who seem to think a win b Manny will erase what happened. It won't. Thats how boxing is.

Roberto Duran had many wins after Leonard 2-including the huge upset over Davey Moore. What do people remember most about DUran-no mas. Same with down goes frazier.
