1 punch ko against taxi drivers but known fighters, combination of punches. It's not the ko wins, it's how he ko them.

The only people who are begging for a 5th fight are disgruntled Manny fans like yourself who seem to think a win b Manny will erase what happened. It won't. Thats how boxing is.

Roberto Duran had many wins after Leonard 2-including the huge upset over Davey Moore. What do people remember most about DUran-no mas. Same with down goes frazier.

Sadly, for you and the rest of the fringe diehard manny fans-its oh Jim he's not getting up.
Ok well firstly, you talk about a group of Manny fans at first. Cool! You find all sorts of groups everywhere. Doesn't make a blind bit of difference to anything, other than pointing out a group. Theres a guy on here who thinks Mayweather is the greatest of all time, but you don't hear me trying to label him a microcosm of the Floyd-fanbase as a whole.

4th fight wasn't needed, of course. But it was exciting, everyone watched it, because we know these two will always come to fight. Hence a 5th fight is extremely marketable. You can bring out "oh but the public don't want to see it again" card all you like, but until you bring out some proof of that, it's just a bland statement.

That's really why i've bolded a part up there. Can you prove your assertion that it's only diehard fans who want to see the 5th fight? Or if we take your post literally, only diehard fans who are begging to see it? I for one would love to see it, but then again, that's with the frame of mind which ignores the politics of the sport - which I assume the viewing public also shares. I've always said, if you don't want to see a 5th fight, you probably care more for boxing politics than entertainment, which is sad. I don't think Pacquiao-Marquez has ever been boring, and the 4th fight only created ample opportunity for massive pre-fight hype

Why should we assume Pacquiao behaved otherwise when we have actual proof that he behaved otherwise? For scoring purposes the only thing that could be overlooked is the fact that the round didn't end, not the fact that Marquez knocked Pacquiao down/out. So you can say Pacquiao was up by the time of the stoppage by 1 round, however you can also say he was only up by a round because he couldn't get up- so why people act as though he was sweeping the cards I do not know.

You are totally clueless. Pac didn't give Marquez anything. Arum told Pac was told that the only way he would make significantly more than his usual $5.6 million guarantee was to fight Marquez. Pacquaio fought Marquez in the second and third fights because Arum had no one else in his stable for Pac to fight and he damn sure wasn't going to put Pac in the ring with Mayweather or one of the GBP fighters.

That is because Pac/Bradley barely cracked 500,000 itself.

                    Honestly,

fight 4 was the most exciting out of all of them except for maybe fight 1....

                    fight 4 was close,,

                    both had knockdowns
                    manny ahead on scorecards,
manny going in for the kill
jmm laying manny out cold, out of nowhere
                    great great fight

                    my favorite of the series,...

if both lose next fight, then have the rematch
if both win next fight, have the rematch
if jmm wins and rios beats manny, then no

I dont buy it, even if he had won a close SD he would have been satisfied with his win and wouldnt have wanted to fight again because he finally got his way. but if Pacquiao had won a close fight again hed probably be crying again
