Well yes, you're right, there can be bias that leads to what some may see as 'irrelevant' controversy, but again, regardless of where the disagreement comes from that is still controversy, which is exactly the definition, which I said it was... so the point is what? I accept the KO and the outcome, why is the definition of the word being ignored?

I think people are a bit too focused on the KO, they're forgetting events that transpired before the KO, they add to some level of controversy, at least in my opinion.

I don't care if JMM don't fight Pac again, but JMMS thoughts seem a bit off.
Pac wasn't obligated to give JMM rematches just because the fights were close. Pac could have taken the money and wins and ran.

But JMM wanted the rematches so Pac gave him them. Yes it took JMM wearing t shirts saying I beat Pac 3 times to get Pac to cave in, but Pac gave the rematches.

Just like now, JMM doesn't have to rematch Pac. The situation is no different.

Don't fool yourself. There were media, boxers, Marquez fans and floydiots thought Marquez won but so did some others on Pacquaio winning all those fights. The fact that Pacquaio didn't cry like a river after the judge admitted scoring error in the first fight showed who is the man. If you want to learn what is boxing robbery, watch Pac vs Bradley but if you had Bradley won also in that fight then what I can say?

You should not also forget the fact Marquez drank his own urine to have an extra power to beat Pac but it didn't work. So he hired a well documented known undetectable PED supplier Heredia and the rest is history.

That is just like what I would expect from a Floyd fan. They never hope that fights get made as they are always discussing why fights shouldn't get made. Well after so many years of defending Floyd for not fighting the riskier opponents, I guess they get this built in mechanism that just makes them not want to see these big fights.

Manny vs Marquez would have been a big fight with a lot of anticipation. Just like for all those years, Floyd vs Manny .....

It must be sad to be a Floyd fan. You see him win against opponents that most give little chance while never demanding that Floyd fights riskier opponents.

I don't think his thoughts are off at all them fights were always on the table cause they were so close in fact a Filipino sports writer wrote after their third fight that he thought Marquez won the fight this time Juan closed it in perfect fashion left no doubt.

Only the american media even thought the 3rd fight was close......the rest of the world wasn't that invested in Pacquiao-Mayweather to gift Pacquiao rounds like the yanks.

Even the pinoy media had JMM winning that one...
