I love Cotto, but he can only be successful in this fight if Sergio is completely shot.

Sergio of 2 years ago puts forth a demolition.

Cotto got ballz. I don't see how he beats Martinez, but I admire the will...assuming the fight happens.

This has always been a decent style match up for Cotto...my only concern has been whether he can stand up to Sergio's power. If Sergio's knees are bothering him and he can't plant and sit down on his punches like he used to, Cotto will win...I truly believe that.

          Sergio is not outboxing Cotto.
Sergio Martinez is a way better and more accomplished fighter than Austin Trout. Has more solid power and is faster. Martinez adjusts in mid fight to get the win even when he is down. He is resilient, slick and has one punch KO power and does it against bigger guys. Props and respect to Miguel Cotto but Martinez sends him into retirement.

Catch weight, not full credit. Either way, this fight is not going to happen.

What version of Cotto are we on now? Upgrade #63?
                  LOOL

But Cotto has improved over the years, having said that, I just don't think he has improved since pre-Pacquiao. Pacquiao whooped one of the better versions of Cotto, Cotto that night, for 4 rounds was competitive but when Pacs punches started to destroy his body, his soul collapsed as it did with Margarito.

Cotto is the type of guy who will always do better against "boxers" than more aggressive "fighters". Martinez is a very smart boxer but he also has terrific power, speed, a size advantage and knows how to finish guys off. I don't wana see Cotto leave in a coffin. Leave this fight alone.

Cotto will beat him. Martinez is done as a top fighter. Injury prone, older, not as fast or sharp. Cant wait to see it. Cotto stops him.
