Martinez will stop him if it happens. Sergio struggling against naturally larger opponents has fooled people. He's coming to the end of his reign but he has enough left to handle this job. Cotto is one of my all time favorite fighters and I know him better than most. This isn't the matchup I was hoping for. ESPECIALLY if it's at 160. Huge mistake.

same with me, I'm a big Cotto fan but Martinez kills him. I think Cotto should go down the Canelo route, that's a good win for him. Martinez stops Cotto in the 9th.

I give credit for Cotto wanting to fight Martinez, but Its a big mistake! Martinez is not finished like some people think, Maravilla will end all the new hype people are buying into about Cotto. Martinez is too big for Cotto. Cotto will be his old self and drop to a knee all over again, look at my SIG because that is how he will look after about 7 rounds.

Mental scars never truly go away. Beating a shot, one eyed dead man Margarito by doctor stoppage will not heal the beatings he's suffered.

Once Sergio starts landing those fast combos on his head, the memories will all come flooding back.
