The body shots were the difference in this fight. Delvin felt them and through his whole game off

1st thing I noticed was the size advantage of Cotto, especially across the back and shoulders...

I agree. I think Cotto Delvin would have made it up but i think Cotto would have jumped on him and ended it. Thats what we fight fans want though, or at least most of us - a clean finish. Rodriguez hadnt taking a bad beating, it was early and it was a meaningful fight for both guys.

at least give him a chance to get up and make his case to continue, even if it seemed that cotto was getting stronger as the fight went on, I've seen rodriguez in some fights the dude can scrap, but i guess we'll never know

Exactly, let the man get up & then check him out, ask him where is he, etc. And if he's off, then he's out....

Rodriguez has guts and can fight, he's just not of the same caliber as a Miguel Cotto. Had Cotto slipped far enough to accommodate Delvin's level of skill was the question. He hadn't was the answer.
There's still some fire left in this Bull

Cotto would have most definitely knocked him out in that round but the stoppage was early.

He is not punch drunk his commentary is smart but he stutters all the time, its kind of worrying.
