Yes, he beat Lucas. I acknowledge that, and I give Danny huge props.

But Ill say it again, if it weren't for the eye, the fight could have been much different. Would you agree or not, and just answer the question, don't be a smartass.
It's called boxing. It's not uncommon for that to happen to the loser. As for the bolded statement, that response is beyond lame. Basically what you are saying is "if Lucas didn't get hit he would have won" I hope you realize how ****** that sounds.

I also find it funny when people like you claim they are giving Danny huge props while they clearly are not with the BS excuses you used.

"If his eye didn't swell" isn't the same as "if he didn't get hit"

Everyone expected him to get hit, nobody expected the eye to swell... Not even the so very proud Garcia fans that picked him to win

Its boxing, no one's arguing with the result, what's being argued is who's the better fighter (the winner isn't always the better fighter, see Khan/Prescott). Only a rematch can seal the deal

Yeah, its like saying Frazier lost to Ali in their 3rd fight because he had swollen eyes. Had he been able to see, he would have stopped Ali. lol

What we found out is that to most boxing fans Garcia was WAY underrated. He won by doing exactly what most of us didn't think he could do.
I don't think Matthysse is overrated only by some fans saying he would ko pacquiao and Mayweather and whoever else. Rematch would again be a 50/50 fight for me.

No one said that though. I don't know who you had up by the time of the injury but I know you've seen the "punch", and you have to admit Matthysse was unlucky.

I wasn't a Matthysse fan before this fight, more an interested observer, but I am fan after it. To fight the way he did with one eye while getting hit low made me a fan.

I told you people that Lucas is not as good as people hype him up to be.He has no head movement, throw his punches wide sometimes,is flat footed and leaves himself open a lot cause he likes to brawl. If Golovkin don`t improve substantially,he`s gonna be exposed also when he fights a skilled fighter.

Mattysse isn't overrated at all. Garcia is simply better than most people were willing to accept. I still think Lucas beats any and every jr welterweight not named Swift.

He's gonna be back, and better than ever. If you really think about it, if it weren't for the eye, he could have REALISTICALLY won the fight.

It's not one of those fights where 1 guy was clearly superior. If you played that fight out 10 times, and with no random eye swelling, I think Lucas wins 7 of the 10 fights.

P.S. That wasn't just blood or a cut above the eye, he was legally blind in one eye.

On a side note, I bet Matthysse would handidly beat Rios and probably even beat Alvarado. Him and Provodnikov have a hell of a war.
