Im talking about cotto wanting to fight a bigger man in sergio martinez. Flaccid gheyweather always fights smaller guys(jmm, hatton) or c fighters(ortiz, guerrero, talking about khan) and held canelo to a catchweight. Cotto wants to fight a 160 lb champ when everybody damn knows cotto is small even for 154. Cotto doesnt give a sh it, that is why he is the man

I love how some arm-chair grocery store paper-bagger can call another man a bum, who's got a pretty decent resume, he earned his ranking

Clearly, experts and professionals in this field don't consider Rodriguez a bum. Calling people names just showcases how juvenile and worthless someone can be. Have some dignity and self-respect, damn.

Lampley called him a journeyman prior to the fight...

A journeyman is not a bum

That's just the level of fighter he is. A guy who can give people tests, be a gatekeeper and who's usually on the cusps of a championship, but can't make the leap.

If you have made it to journeyman in this game, I think you've done yourself and family proud. Glen Johnson is the ultimate journeyman, who also won some meaningful fights and championships. I would never in a million years consider him a bum.

It's not like he's 16-25 with 25 of those losses coming by way of KO.

Roach said Cotto came into training camp well over 170, like 172 or 175 lbs. Roach knows Cotto came make Middleweight easier than he can Jr. Middleweight. And he'd potentially have less stamina issues.

This was meant for the other guy. Lol, my fault.

Cotto is big. Roach said he came into camp at 175 lbs or so. He has to drain himself just to make 154 lbs, and then people wonder why he gets tired like Canelo.

Personally I'd take this over Floyd fighting Khan.
I have said all along that I think Mayweather's next opponent will either be Cotto or Danny Garcia. There is no way in hell I see Mayweather fighting Khan next. A Cotto rematch would generate at least 1.2 million buys.

Lol relax sonny. I'm sorry I'm not hyping up cottos fight like he just gained 10 years to his life. If it makes u feel better delvin isn't a bum, but he's not very good. He got schooled by trout before cotto did and lost to theophane. Cotto isn't top 3 in the division no matter how much you hype up this win

I just think calling pros bums is just disrespectful. Delvin is a good, solid fighter. He's not great and he doesn't have to be.

And he didn't get school by Trout. Trout looked really average in that fight and Delvin was coming on in the 10th-12th rounds when he began throwing more punches.

And I think Cotto is solidly placed at between 3-5. Mayweather is at top, and then ranks 2-5 are all debatable.

Floyd beat Cotto and Canelo and deserves #1. Canelo beat Trout who beat Cotto - but Cotto fought Mayweather better and was more competitive than Canelo, who is in his prime. So #2-5 in the division all depends on what your bias is in.

I also think Molina rounds out the Top Five. This is my top five

                      Floyd
                      Canelo
                      Cotto
                      Trout
                      Molina

My reasoning is because I just think Cotto had an off-night on Trout and if he had the same fire he had against Floyd against Trout, he would have won. I also really like Molina so I'd maybe make him #4. I also think Cotto would probably lose to Canelo in a war - since Cotto is much more easier to hit than Floyd and Canelo is a massive kid.
                      --------

I also think if someone had this as top five, I'd be perfectly ok w/ it:
                      Floyd
                      Canelo
                      Trout
                      Cotto/Molina (flip flop)
                      -----------
                      If someone had:
                      Floyd
                      Cotto
                      Canelo
                      Trout
                      Molina/Lara

That'd be cool too. It's all subjective and there is no right or wrong answer
