    Cotto Mayweather Jr. rematch??

Has there ever been talks about this? Would you accept this as a legitimate fight?

Personally I'd take this over Floyd fighting Khan.

just stop. if Floyd wanted and fought him the way he fought Guerrero and Canelo, Cotto wouldn't land 5 punches all fight

Shouldn't be made unless Cotto can get a big win over Martinez or Canelo.

Most would be against it because they probably feel that it would more or less be the same result as the first fight and I'm inclined to agree. I'm am however wondering if Cotto has planned on avenging that loss.

If he started calling Floyd out for the rematch, I think the fight should be made.

I don't want to see Mayweather fight someone who's already beaten on one sided fashion.

Floyd had no choice but to fight Cotto the way he did because of the way Cotto fought.

If Floyd fought Guerrero the way he did Cotto, Guerrero would have been stopped late. In fact Floyd had him hurt in the 8th but he let him go.

If there were only two choices- Cotto II or Khan, you're gonna tell me you'd favor the Khan fight?

                I know that's not true.

                  easy money for floyd....

                  rack up another win....

and probably beat him worse... with no impending jail time..... and his father in his corner....

plus cotto = big ppv buys....

business wise it makes sense.... and plus idiots keep talking about how 'well' he did against money may, so casual fans would be ****** enough to buy into it.

I don't think it can happen, Cotto seems to be committed to working with Top Rank even if he doesn't have a contract. That would be a lot of money to walk away from for an older fighter, and he cold use that as leverage to get the best possible deal.

It is as good an option as any though, I don't see any real reason for a rematch but it was a decent fight not like Khan is a superior option.
