I don't blame Wlad. The truth is that the media and the Klitschkos build these fights up but if you really look carefully one can see the true level of the competition. The Russian never fought anyone who could be called a real challenge, he never showed any exceptional qualities, his power was never there, he could not fight inside, has shown no head movement to speak of. How was he going to beat A guy who is the best now-a-days?

The truth is that a decent fighter would punish Wlad for that holding...But most decent fighters over the entire calculus of the heavy weight division can fight inside because if one can't guess what? someone can clinch and lean on you. Which is why...incnidently why all those old timers looked so sloppy!! Because a good deal of the fight happens inside and if you can't fight there a bigger man will own you.

Wlad will not fight the guys that can fight and truly challenge him. Ypung guysl like Fury for example.

The proof is in the pudding: Sam Peter tested Wlad. Why? because even though Peter was not very good he could at least fight a little bit inside. When Wlad held him he got clubbed. The Klits both are very good making it seem like they fight good comp and sometimes particularly Vitali does....But anyone with any sense could see how this fight was going to turn out.
