We all know why he's truly hated. It's not rocket science. The standards people impose on Wlad, they go cheer for someone they like of a different.......hmmm.

I am a Wlad fan but didn't like his performance it wasn't pretty to watch and if he let more than 1 punch at a time go he probably could have impressively stopped Povetkin.

Meh the fight was a bit awkward. The Lean-a-dope technique was disgusting.

his clinches are a level above ward/bhop

wlad is 20lb's heavier, taller than most of his opponents, and he doesn't clinch like those guys do, most fighters get hooked under a guys arms and stop the action, it's still bad and im not for it one bit, so when wlad takes it to another level where he actually is breaking you down with clinches, he pulls your head down, headlocks you and hits you, jumps and is visibly exerting himself trying to push you down, yanks on your head(lets face it, there was only one legit kd in that fight)

it's next level sht, wladimir klitschko is a pu-ssy
and it makes me wonder how many losses he actually would have if not for getting away with this sht, i reckon if he was forced to box under the actual rules povetkin would have made him fold like brewster did as wlad's stamina would be killed actually fighting back and having to utilize real defence

disgraceful stuff, i know people have their agenda's(nelson hating ward with every fiber of his being because he beat kessler) but we should support boxing, and not the travesty that went on tonight, ref was a **** too

Calling a professional fighter a pssy; way to go arm chair warrior. This also is a common fallacy and stereotypical oversimplification of Wlad's defense. His primary defense is standing tall and pulling back just enough when his opponent throws a punch, that all they hit is his shoulders. If he all he did was holding in every fight, we wouldn't hear the end of it.

Your conclusion was that if he didn't hold, he would've suffered the same fate as he did against Brewster. It's oversimplification and apples & oranges comparison. He fought the wrong fight against Brewster and over exerted himself by being too busy for a 250, 6'6 man. He is a better and more conservative fighter now, doing more with less. Has nothing to do with holding.

It was a bad day at the office today, simple as that. And he still won. Only dimwits would use what happened in this fight to try and paint his whole career in a negative light.

yea, because he'd have to be actively defending(whether via more foot movement or rolling), or fighting povetkin off, like you are suppossed to do against an aggressive fighter

i know ur butthurt, and want to keep making sht up about what im "implying", but im not "painting his whole career", i know he used to be a fairly exciting fighter to watch, and is has some good technical displays, but this has happened before with wlad, he fights scared, he spoils

although this is probabley his worst showing, he has been extremely boring and frustrating before(with the carrying of opponents, pulling of the head, clinching) but this time it was somehow worse, alot worse, you shouldn't be suprised, and you shouldn't be so butthurt that he's getting criticized so badly, the fight was just god awful

and in my opinion, yes, he's a pu-ssy(atleats a bit of a pu-ssy), he folds easily when faced with some adversity, folds if a couple of punches land on him, folds when he feels he's getting a little tired
i box, and i think he's mentally weak, good fighter, but mentally weak

you start boxing at an early age, getting punched really isn't something you should be so afraid of, and i understand someone not wanting to take punishment, no one wants to get hit, and my point here isn't wlad not wanting to get hit, it's that he folds if he gets hit just a little bit

you saying, oh, he's a boxer, he can't be a coward or scared of anything, these guys are fearless, emotionless, no, that's like a dork being overly impressed with someone who can go up and actually talk to girls, man, so fearless

so yea, mentally weak, pu-ssy probabley too strong a word, got your panties all jumbled up
