Im from Miami and i dont think he would. Maybe just maybe a tiny venue like the casino in Hialeah. But cubans in Miami are more into baseball than anything. Miami isnt exactly a fight town.

Rigo's style would likely hurt his chances of selling out any venue.

That is the region that he can have the more success selling tickets because of the cuban market.

But in reality how much will the tickets will be? He is not a must see TV for most.

It was a great time, D. The promotion was for shit, but the venue held a very reasonable turnout. As we discussed that night, there's no doubt a well-promoted card featuring Rigo and some decent supporting players would sell out a place like the Amercican Airlines Arena. No problem. If a barely promoted Barthelemy fight did that kind of turnout, Rigo and perhaps Gamboa or Lara would do three times those numbers.
Definitely, I'll contact you guys, I appreciate it! I'm out here in central FL, so I catch a lot of the fights in Kissimmee and Tampa... I've actually been able to shoot behind-the-scenes footage for a couple of the events that have been held here. Let's hope we get Rigo or Lara out here soon!

bob arum doesn't want to make money?

he's got some sort of vendetta against rigondeaux, and his style, size, lack of marketability have nothing to do with it?

do you guys think when you type stuff?
