PLEASE!!! Can you stop your non sense??? A mouthpiece can fly out of any boxers mouth if tired and not biting into it, any punch can cause that on a tired boxer during champ rounds which is when most boxers tend to stick the piece out. It was a good punch but just because the piece flew out it dont mean shiat!!

And if you think it meant anything....Danny just shooked it off and kept going after Lucas.

I'm not making excuses. All I have done is state facts. I keep seeing memes of Garcia with either 1) Matthysse on the ground from that weak ass knockdown (normally at the end of the meme, like he knocked him out LOL) or 2) Matthysse's eye puffed up, which happened in the 6th or 7th round. Matthysse was still coming strong and they both fought competitively for the remainder of the fight. That's a fact. The shot in the 11th that took Garcia's mouthpiece is worth mentioning because it was one of the best ****ing punches of the night. The last 10 seconds of the 12th round says it all. I thought the fight was close. Hell, in the time I have taken to type this, I easily found someone who scored the fight a draw. This fight was no blow-out, and Matthysse is a good fighter, as is Garcia. Call me a 'loosing' fan all you want. I am just calling it like I saw it.

I never tried to discredit him I've always said it would be a close fight ... And was given a million reasons why it wouldn't be by guys like you... Probably you in particular at some point. The fact is it was close but clear that Danny is the better fighter and either he was underrated or Lucas was overrated... I tend to believe Lucas was overrated as I can see Danny having trouble down the road with more "complete" fighters... If anything I'm descrediting Garcia.

I did my share of backing my fighter leading up to the fight. I posted "Matthysse by KO" many times. He's one of my favorites and I did the same thing before the Peterson fight.

I don't think it is a fact that Danny Garcia is clearly the better fighter by any stretch though. I also don't think Lucas is overrated. However, I do think I underestimated Danny Garcia. Lucas wants a rematch. I hope he gets one and all this debate can start all over again.

The fact that the fight was competitive at all ... Not to mention the fact that he lost means he was overhyped. A lot of people had him winning easily or by early ko or by "destruction". The idea before the fight was that if Lucas landing a big shot with full force you were going down or out... The idea before this fight was that Lucas could give guys different looks and could adjust in a fight ... We found out both those things weren't true he was overhyped. If people had him a slight dog or even a slight favorite going into the fight and most people had the fight a toss I would say they valued him accordingly.... But a big majority thought he would win big... A lot of people thought he was invincible. Not many still believe the same to be true. That's the definition of overhyped.

That is not a definition of overhyped .that is a prediction based on both fighter performance. If you take that AS overhyped well ITS up to you and it is the definition of your own version so no wonder that you hate him so much. If mathysse was proven a crap than he is overhyped,which almost all boxing fans Agree that he isn't a crap by performing great fight and posses very dangerous punching Power and speed
