The two boxers sparred prior to Matthysse's bout with WBA/WBC champion Danny Garcia on September 14th in Las Vegas. Garcia won a twelve round unanimous decision. I think sparring with bradley so early before the garcia fight was one of the reasons for lucas losing and not looking as sharp u shouldnt spar an elite fighter instead someone less skilled than you to build your confidence also

Matthysse is a monster fighter but he had to protect that eye so he wasn't willing to take risks...him taking risks I do believe he catches his opponent sooner or later.
