Was ready to click Stevenson or Garcia right away BUT damn thats a good list. First time in a while people are racking up impressive wins. but you gotta give it to the pfp#1 Floyd Mayweather. First back to back fights in a long time. And embarassed back to back fighters, one in Canelo who everyone thought he would duck and toyed with him.
Stevenson & Garcia deserve mad props as well but their time will come

It's interesting to see Garcia getting so many votes, what happened to all the Matthysse lovers?

And I don't wana diss Mayweather, he has had a good year but is beating a b level welterweight and then Canelo really FOTY material? Yes Canelo is a good fighter but he's green, very green, he has stamina issues and he's just a bit better than Trout. The kid was a 9-1 under dog in some places, Floyd did what we all expected. Only hate blinded latinos thought Canelo would win or put up a fight.

Garcia and Stevenson should be clear leaders in my opinion.

It was gonna be Abner Mares from of all of the tough competition he was mowing down until he got KTFO but now I think its gonna be either Danny Garcia, GGG-(on the basis of how Donaire got it last year), or Floyd Mayweather.

Echoing what others have said, it's definitely a tight race this year. I was as big a Danny Garcia skeptic as they come, but I have to give it to him -- I never thought he'd pull off a win over Matthysse. Still, I lean toward Stevenson. It's not too often a guy takes such a big step up in competition and just rips through the top of his division like he's done. I say, if he does fight and win in November, he's my FOY.

                Danny Garcia!

Not many gave him a chance against Matthysse and he beat him comfortably!

Floyd fought and won 24 rounds against opponents who would beat almost anyone else. I'd go with him

How would JMM and Bradley fare against the B level Welterweight that is Guerrero? Not that they wouldn't win, but it wouldn't be easy. Canelo might have been green, but he was #1 at Jr. Middleweight. If the Guerrero and Canelo performances were on another fighters' resume they'd be considered a strong FOTY candidate for FOTY.

Not saying that Mayweather should be the outright front runner because Stevenson, Garcia, Rigondeaux, Estrada, Bradley, and, on a slightly lesser scale, Garcia are strong candidates for FOTY, but Mayweather should rightfully get strong consideration as well. If Stevenson faces Bellew this year, that'll be 2 KO's of top 5 fighters in the division and the Bellew result (another top 10 fighter). Rigondeaux and Garcia have the best wins, but Stevenson's dominant KO's of top 10 opposition have him slightly higher in my book.

To me the only one who beat convincingly a top P4P is Rigo. The fact that he fought only once this year is Top rank's fault.
