Front Runner for Fighter of the Year?

After Adonis Stevenson's terrific performances last night, who do you think is the front runner for FOTY?? Stevenson's back to back wins over Dawson and Cloud are as impressive as any two wins this year. Danny Garcia is another front runner, beating both Matthysse and Judah.

Outsiders in Rigo and Froch maybe?

Lil Timmy could be up there if he beats Marquez, capping off a tough year in which a lot of questions have been answered.

I think volume has to have a lot to do with it, too.

By the end of the year Stevenson will be one of the few (only?) front runners to have completed more than two bouts.

Beating the man in the division (okay, he looked shot, but still...), then taking out a top contender, and then finishing off the year by beating his mandatory should do it. I like Tony Bellew, but I can't see him getting past Stevenson.

I doubt Bellew will fight Stevenson this year, if he does, what a big year for him!

The likes of Garcia and GGG are up there partly cos of activity and how they dealt with their opponents.

Don't forget to vote in the poll!

It does seem a tall order, I was going off Boxrec (or was it Wikipedia?)

Actually, he fought Boone as well, didn't he? Although that's nothing special, it does add to the volume.

Rigondeaux had one good performance, but that was all he did.

Is this a who should win or who is going to win? I think Mayweather is most likely going to win. I think Danny Garcia should win though.

Adonis is a good option though. He's had a dominant year. The Dawson knockout was very impressive. The Boone knockout is one of my favorites of the year. He dismantled Cloud easily.

If Rodriguez somehow managed to beat Ward, he'd have to be it.

Most listed are more or less even, but the single best victory would be Rigondeaux'.

Why does Garcia get credit for Judah?

I know that lower weight classes are ignored, but i'd put Gallo Estrada in there. Beat tough veteran p4p Brian Viloria in April, beat undefeated Melindo in July, and another defense in December probably.

**** it, who am I kidding, Floyd will win it for sure.

                It's still Rigo easily IMO.

Stevenson would be a decent shout IMO. His wins may not be of the magnitude of some of the others...but to beat Dawson, Cloud (and possibly Bellew if the November date for the mandatory is still in place) represents a very solid year.

Bellew is fighting Stevenson on November 30th. It was agreed upon prior to the fight that he would be fighting the winner on that date.
