    Golovkin won every single round.

Well what did you want me to do, go back in the threads I said felt Salinas would win and apologise for it ending in a draw?

I didn't say he never, I wasn't even scoring the fight but Stevens may of edged one or two.

Nobody ever admits they're wrong on here most don't sign in for weeks after or they seemingly vanish after in most cases.

    • WTF is going on with Boxrec? They got GGG's reach listed at 70", but we all know that his real reach is probably at 74"-76".

He's big at MW with good defense and a good counter puncher.

I favour Golovkin for sure but it would be a good fight I think.
I don't think Golovkin will be as worried about Murray's power the way he seemed tonight by Stevens'. Murray's a very credible opponent but Golovkin may make even lighter work with him although Murray's defence was very tight against Martinez. I imagine a stoppage around the same round as tonight though.

Had they fought at MSG, for instance or another indoor arena, Murray gets phuked up.
I favour Golovkin in a bout with a 2013 version of Martinez. His ability to cut off the ring is a key determinant. Also, it doesn't seem that difficult to get into range with Martinez if a high guard is maintained as Murray did.

He's right though, what did Stevens do to put himself in the top 10?

what did the other guys do, homie?

have you taken a look at the top 20 at MW in the last couple of months?

I noticed that too a few days back.

Did he say that in the post-fight interview? I'm glad that's the plan, he's the type of fighter a boxing fan would want to see as often as possible.

As for the Murray/Stevens comparison, I think Murray's size and length would make 3G a bit more cautious on the outside. Stevens was missing with shots that Murray could theoretically land if in the same situation because of his height/reach. I just think Murray is capable of providing better competition, but I guess we'll see if it actually happens.

                  • The Curtis Stevens we just saw would destroy any version of Sergio Martinez.

He said on an ESPN(?) interview, I posted it earlier in the thread.

Yeah, but I don't think Murray has the same pop and GG proved he has a great chin. I felt this was the most dangerous fight at MW because of the power, I don't see Golovkin getting outboxed. I'll be supporting Murray but picking Golovkin.
