He isn't a total chump or a bum or anything like that but when talking against a top end guy in a division he should not challenge them at all he just isn't on that level

More than I thought he would or should given Golovkin's lofty standing~

Even in losing a fight you can still provide a challenge you know~

I am sorry that Golovkin didn't do what I thought he should against that sort of opponent and that I say what I think without caring much.
There was no point in that fight that Golovkin was even sort of in trouble.

Which begs the question; what in gods name are you talking about

So he needs to be in trouble to show flaws or holes in a game? You think all that can be learned from this fight is that Golovkin is a better fighter than Stevens?

You obviously watch differently than I do so it is what it is~

And yes...I did put my money where my mouth is, max betting Stevens by KO in the first round at various sportsbooks for odds from +5000 all the way to +12000.

I can't wait for the post-fight interview, all GGG will be able to say in English is, "this is just BOXX, this BOXX you know, I want rematch."

Fighters sometimes struggle against guys they're supposed to dominate, it happens. Ali got knocked down by Henry Cooper and was nearly out, Roy Jones was getting outlanded by Montell Griffin in the first fight before the stoppage. Like GGG says, this is boxing.

Save the holier than thou talk for someone else buddy.

I just dont understand the flaws people are talking about that we didn't already know. He obviously doesn't have the best defense, that is expected with his style he fights to end the fight and will take some shots in the process. Going into the fight I wasn't sure how he would take a big shot from a guy like Stevens the way he ate them and kept coming showed me he a lot.

That was young Ali and Griffin was a top shelf guy.

Golovkin is not a young fighter by any means and Stevens is not a top end guy.

You are right it is boxing and to me to really break down a fight you look for meaning, going in everybody knew Golovkin is superior to Stevens and that he should win rather easily. He did meet those expectations in some regards but he fell short so what does that mean, going forward because that is the important area for Golovkin. I saw flaws that could pose an issue, they didn't in this fight because it was against a guy like Stevens but in other fights against superior opposition they may be more meaningful and worth a thought. That doesn't mean I think he will lose or shouldn't be favored over most guys, but if he does get beat I think I see how it could happen.

If people want to agree or not agree not a big deal I am sharing my take, people can take it or leave it.
