¿Is it necessary to say that Vera got ROBBED!? After all the heat judge CJ Ross got for that crazy scoring she did 2 weeks ago one would think judges would be more careful & discrete when judging & even if they are giving the fight to a certain fighter at least they could make it close.. But only 1 did it that way cause the other 2 made sure everyone notice they were on Arum's payroll! & even after the fight was scheduled to be at 168lbs, they made it at a catch weight to favor Chavez jr(cause he couldn't màke the weight) & they even went from 12 to 10 rounds to favor Chavez jr! Arum covered ALL the angles, including the judges to make sure jr got the win! I wonder what the commission is gonna say this time around...Comment

this is real bad for boxing... a total disrespect to us, the boxing fans. How or why decisions like these keep coming up? Judges, promoters must think we're really ****** for continuing to watch this bs...... Vera just simply took it to this blown up plastic ex so called champion. It is what it is, Vera won and judges should just not tarnish boxing more than what it already is !!Comment

Vera came out fast. He slowed down in the end. 97-93 and 98-92 were garbage scores. Chavez landed the harder shots. That counts for something. This was not a hard fight to scrore at all. Even round 7 which was almost a Vera round was lost when he was visibly wobbled by Junior. No controversy here.Comment

No, landing 50% of your power shots means everything. Vera didn't press the action for the entire fight. I didn't see Vera out land Junior by 70 shots. He landed more, and he landed hard early, but Junior landed hard the entire fight. And he hurt wobbled Vera on more than one occasion. One guy can throw 10 and land 6, but if the other guy throws 10 and lands 4, but all 4 are hard shots, the crowd and the judge more than likely give that round to the guy who did more damage with his 4 hard shots. Haven't seen the fight yet, going to watch it later. Looking at Social media as it happened, everyone had Vera winning but many predicted politics would see that other ****er get the decision.
It's quite sad when people almost expect a fraud decision in certain fights.Comment
