Out of all the dumb stuff you've said tonight this is clearly the dumbest.. Vera didn't do enough??? He pressed the action the entire night and had a man 2 weight classes higher back peddling and running the entire night.. He also doubled his output and outlanded him by 70+ punches. And to have Jr as your avatar just shows that you clearly have a biased opinion... To everyone saying Jr landed 51% of his power shots, it means **** when your out thrown by so much. If i throw 10 punches and land 6, sure i have a high connect % but i still am landing half the amount of a guy who throws 30 and lands 12.

Vera won in the public's eye and the way he handled the weight issue this week has definitely earned him some new fans, including me. He outworked Jr. and while he ate some big shots from JCC Jr., he was never hurt that badly. Chavez Jr. owes him a rematch at 168, but he'll never give it to him. Hopefully he goes straight to Andre Ward so he can get annihilated.

Very close fight..i had it 96-94 for chavez ,while vera was more agressicve and pushed the pace it was unaffective aggression...sure vera threw alot of punches but he only landed 24% of his total punches while chavez landed 38%...those are the facts...i felt chavez landed the harder cleaner shots all night,vera had sum moments but a blind man would say vera won that fight...its like de la hoya mayweather,sure de la hoya threw morevpunches but at the end of the day who won the fight?the fighter who threw the harder cleaner shots....mayweather this is the same case vera was game but in the rematch if they fight at a contracted weight this time no bs,chavez whoops him...plz understand this was a weight chavez has never fought at hence the close fight......vera supporters stop hating he gave a valiant effort!!

This fight scorecards reminds me of his first fight with Vanda, where he was punched from pillar to post for much of the fight, looked like a zombie and ready to pass out, yet still won by a shutout on 1 card.

Chavez JR is a steaming pile and Vera whooped him they gave JR a whatever weight you can make then we had to watch him whine for 10 rounds then they gifted him a win not only a UD but I saw a 98-92 hahaha boxing has become a joke and makes me sick to hear any cards read they do it over and over even when the right guy wins the cards are still ****ed I could have lived with a draw would have still been bullshnit but could have lived with it but 98-92 and 97-93 are just crap just like the big time sport of boxing has become I am gonna go back to watching ESPN fights and amateur because these HBO & SHO boxing are just **** they are not even good fights and then the cards are worse

There was no damn robbery. Junior won 96-94. Now you know why Shields was getting on Vera. Vera clowned a bit too much. Junior was up 5-4 going into the 10th. Vera had his chance. It looked like he got sluggish in the end because of the weight.
