Based on what did you see vera winning convincingly? I taught it was 98-96 chavez he won all the middle rounds. Vera the smaller man controlled that entire fight...at best you can give Chavez Jr two rounds outright...nothing more. In rounds people gave him he threw 20 punches and landed 11...while the other man landed double as many. Jabs, hooks, uppercuts, straights, etc all count.

JR is such a baby back *****! Getting backed up by a smaller dude. I think if Vera wouldve timed his shots a lil better and ripped the body more, JR wouldve gave up. But his jab was on point and kept jr at bay and his work rate was awesome, not to mention his heart! Its ok, this means that JR has it coming real good. GGG, Ward, La Maravilla, Stevenson would make mince meat out of his rear.

Horrible decision, I had Vera 96-94 or 97-93. Yeah Chavez panded a great percentage but Veras volume won him the fight. Hopefully Chavez gets Ward or GGG, so we can finally put an end to this charade. Thumbs down

I'm dumb? Really...the irony here. You have Chavez Sr as your avatar who was one of the hardest working and highest punch output fighters in boxing history and you are in here slamming me because I think the busier and controlling fighter won tonight..ohhhhh the casuals are really off their rocker tonight. I'm latino too and just because Chavez is more Latino than than Vera doesn't mean i'm going to him a win he didn't deserve by any stretch...even the fans at the arena boo'ed the result.
