wilder is still very raw but the more experience he gains in the gym sparring guys like the klitschko's & haye the better off he will be in the long run. his level of competition has be slow because he keeps blowing out guys. Harrison & liakhovich were brought in to test him & on paper you could say they were good choices but neither could take the first big punch they were hit with. there are so many questions that need to be answered before his team will put him in with a contender. can can he take a punch? Harold sconiers put him on his butt. can he go 10 or 12? what happens when someone can take his punches & fires back? how does he respond to adversity? no one knows yet so I see why they are taking their time. price was blowing domestic guys out & none of those questions were answered but for some reason Maloney put him in with a top 10 contender after 15 fights & now he's 15-2. i really don't have an issue with this fight. i hope he gets some rounds in. kingpin, pajkic & guinn should be targets. all 3 can take a punch & go rounds...

Wilder's in that terrible spot of being too good for guys like this, but too raw for the big dogs in the division. He needs guys that he can go rounds with, most of all, so he can work on becoming something more than an athletic guy with a big punch.

Only difference is, GGG gets schooled for half of the fight in his lone fight with a world titlist. And made to look like a bad Arturo Gatti knockoff.

While Wilder basically lands one punch and sends the former world titlist that he shared the ring with into a epileptic coma.

This isn't a bad fight, IMO. Wilder is still raw and Firtha may give him a few rounds. I'd prefer to see him in with someone like Sprott soon. He'd definitely get 5+ rounds with him. Stamina and defence will be his undoing if they keep feeding him bums
