You just can't compare the fighters of today to the fighters of the past since they're not playing by the same rules.
    I agree with this

Floyd-- started at 130 up to 152.

Manny started where at? And finishhed how high?

      How about this one-----

RJJ started at 154 and moved all the way up to 205
And was still out weighed 30 pounds at the weigh in
And 36 pounds on fight night.

Why is that roy can do it , but floyd cant .

Roy moved up 51 pounds to fight heavyweight and was still out weighed by 36 pounds

Thats like asking floyd to move up and fight ward or hop at 168 or 170
And roy still has 11 pounds over him, thats challenging your greatness

      Margarito
      Hatton - Lineal

      that alone destroys Floyd's resume
Apply the same fine toothed comb to Manny.
Morales beat him, then lost to him at a weight he didn't want to be at anymore
      Barrera was past his prime
MArquez is arguably 4-0 vs Manny.
      Cotto was at a catchweight
      Margarito was at a catchweight
ODLH was at a weight Oscar had no business trying to make
Hatton? Please, he was finished and past it.
Diaz? Equivalent of Floyd beating Demarcus Corley

Manny used every advantage he could get when making fights, almost allof his big wins there was a weight issue for the opponent even if it wasn;t at a catchweight.

When rating any fighter's resume the names themselves should be able to stand on their own. They should need no dressing e.g. #blah ranked blah, or former-lineal blah, or strong, young blah.

If the names are good enough, they will speak for themselves with out any help.

When it's all said and done history will be very kind to Floyd. He will go down as the best of this era and rated as a very high ATG. He's just hated right now

He won't be known as the best ever, but he'll be considered an ATG. I know it's been said a billion times on here before, but he needed that Pacquiao fight back in 2008/2009 to see who truly was the greatest of this era. Floyd will definitely be in all top 50 lists years from now, but I don't think many would even put him in the top 10. He needed that Pacquiao win when it mattered the most.

For starters, Robinson makes Canelo look like a midget.

the fact is floyd will be more remembered first as a ducker and then a distant second his undefeated record.

he accomplished the 2nd due to his team business skills of matching him with cherry picked opponents. it really goes hand in hand.
