There is no chance of Mayweather ever approaching GOAT status. None.

I don't make it sound like that at all. you asked a question, I answered.

If by more competitive you mean Sergio would have a better chance to win IYO, that makes sense. If you mean closer fight I agree.

In MId 2012, floyd had not fought at JMW other than ODH. Today, he's beaten ODH, cotto, and Canelo (152) for the lineal.

I think a discussion about a fight against a heavier, top 5 p4p, lineal champ makes more sense now rather than before.

He gave that up when he dipped from the best welterweights from 07-10. Going up to 160 and beating one of the 2,954 titlists doesn't get him the goat title. The all time greats, fought the best and didn't make excuses why they couldn't.

Barely beat an old Dela Hoya and you have the nerve to suggest him as GOAT?

Being undefeated is over rated in boxing. Every fan should know that by now.

Ray robinson after starting at lightweight 135 moved up to 175 ,his prime was at 147 and he was beating joey maxim a hall of famer , ray weighed in at 162 for the fight , there was no 168 ,and it was same day weight in and quit on heat exhaustion while winning on the score cards in Ny where floyd never fought.cause xylocaine is banned.

            (51 pound move up)
Roy jones started at 154 and moved up to 205 to fight a heavyweight belt holder
And was still out weighed by 30 pounds fight night vs ruiz. In Ny .

his vote counts the same as yours, regardless of when he started watching boxing.
