I'm not using that as an excuse, I want to him fight Lara. I'm just saying I can't imagine Showtime would agree to put this on PPV after how poorly the Ghost fight did. And heaven forbid Floyd doesn't fight on PPV. Its a real shame how money can get in the way of potentially good fights.

Unless its not up to Showtime? I don't know exactly how all of this works.

If Floyd was to fight again at Light Middleweight,it should be against Carlos Molina, because he has the WBA belt. That way Floyd would win all 3 major titles at light middleweight.

Well that's why it should be settled in the ring. Not from fanboys making excuses and giving Floyd fantasy wins.

"Oh this is a mismatch. He should fight Khan instead."

Who thought Hurtado would trouble Pea? Who thought Montell would trouble Roy? Who thought Frankie Randall would trouble Chavez? Who thought Lang would trouble Duran?

Awkward slick fighters have a history of creating problems and that's why they get avoided.

but Judah doesn't follow game plans and has the mental strength of a 5 year old.

Floyds not staying at 154 for Lara nor should he. His three fights there were his 3 biggest PPVs. He not just fighting anybody. He's only fighting the big draws and Lara isn't that big draw. So he might as well stay in his own weight class. Besides im not all that excited about watching two counter punchers face each other.

Molina has the IBF title but I think your scenario is possible. Molina will end up fighting Canelo or Cotto. If he loses then a fight between the winner and Floyd is possible. I guess if he wins Floyd may fight him. It's just not very likely since Molina's fights are always ugly.

Floyd figured because Guerrero was Mexican,he would get a lot of Mexicans to support him,Floyd thought wrong.Plus Floyd promoted that fight poorly,he allowed Guerrero to go on a press tour by himself, which was a bad idea because a lot of casual fans did not know who Guerrero was.I think Floyd got arrogant by thinking all i have to do is some interviews then show up on fight night and the fight will do 1.4 million buys easily.

Lara on the other hand doesn`t have a potential Cuban support because there is no Cuban boxing market in the U.S.So everybody would assume that a Floyd/Lara Trout would do poorly.Plus Lara doesn`t have a belt and doesn`t have any big wins, unless you count Paul Williams fight whom many assumed was past his best. For Floyd, their are far more accomplished and deserving fighters for him to fight likeanny Garcia,Devon Alexander Khan Winner,Tim Bradley and Pacquiao if he gets pass Rios.
