I'd prefer 154 of course. But I just mean Lara won't have any weight struggles if its at a cw. He wears baggy shorts on the scales.Comment

Fight isn't likely to happen but if it does it has to be at 154. There's no reason to have it at 152.Comment

I would love this fight!! Just not at a catch weight. Him nor his idiot manager made a Boxing scene article saying they will go down to 150.Comment

Understand that that's what kills Mayweather's whole "thing". Everyone wants him to fight these "threatening" fighters like Lara who brings no money or legacy upside, yet you still say you think Mayweather would win. Which simply means that after the fight, it would be as if it never happened and everyone will be calling for Floyd vs another "threatening" opponent.
Floyd has an approach to boxing that is about being the best at his game vs "training for his opponent's style". Everyone trains to fight Mayweather. Mayweather trains for his own execution and to make others fight his fight. He makes guys look ordinary and the public then bashes his opponent for being ordinary.
I've learned that the only fight casual fans have cared about (despite the 2.2 million buys) has been Mayweather/Pacman. We're hardcore fans here. But those buys and a lot of people live in attendance are casual fans, celebrities, etc who come out for the big fights. Those casual fans know DLH and Pacquiao. Canelo was a compelling story to tell with a great promotion.
Lara brings nothing but another win for fans and writers to dismiss after the fact. Pacman brings closure to both of their careers.Comment

Should be at 154. This would be Floyd's 4th fight at that division!
To say that 152 is fine because Lara hydrates to a number that is less than, example, Canelo doesn't mean that he will still be at his best at 152. That is like saying, Floyd only re-hydrates a few pounds so he is OK fighting at 140. Last time I checked the limit is 154. Floyd holds a title there, so I think it's time he defends it at the limit.Comment
