I'm pretty sure this fight will happen within the next two years if both guys keep on winning and expanding their fan bases. HBO (all interested parties probably) really just wants to wait to build hype. I'd favor Ward though. However, that doesn't mean I don't think GGG is a talent.

One other aspect of this is that Rodriguez is a big SMW (I think he rehydrated to something like 186 against Escalera last year), so he will likely have the size advantage. I don't see that being too big of an issue for Ward though. Ward may very well make it work to his advantage.

They are the same size (183cm)... Ward also walks 185 in the fight night. There are no issues here.

A Ward vs Golovkin was discussed for the next year... But I suspect that Ward would rather move up for a Dawson rematch at 175.
