Finally! Glad to see Ward get a fight in. Now if they can just give Rigo a December date my year in boxing is set.

This is good fight IMO, Edwin is very hungry and knows he'll probably never get a chance like this again. Edwin has a punchers chance, but Ward is the crispier boxer. Very interesting fight.

Very good. I hate that a prime fighter as good as Andre Ward has been out of the ring so long. Don't worry about looking impressive, just get in the rounds and get the win.

Edwin Rodriguez is a good fighter I think the fight will be semi competitive Ward wins 116-112

this is actually a pretty decent fight. rodriguez is going to get completely destroyed, but he's in his prime and coming off of the one round stoppage of grachev.

i don't have time to read the article, but i'm interested to see what they're paying rodriguez.

I have a feeling this will be a wide ud, edwin is not on the same level seen him a few times and he's to slow strong but not a one punch ko guy and a plodder really don't see how he can win if the inactivity doesn't effect ward to much

One other aspect of this is that Rodriguez is a big SMW (I think he rehydrated to something like 186 against Escalera last year), so he will likely have the size advantage. I don't see that being too big of an issue for Ward though. Ward may very well make it work to his advantage.

This is a solid comeback fight for Ward. Rodriguez is a very good fighter
