Juan Manuel Marquez, Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Marquez, stay away from Patron Tequila. Floyd "Money" Mayweather took Canelo to school. plain and simple. Weight, lack of game plan, hurt Canelo, are you kidding me."Que viva USA".

Canelo doesn't want to show up against Gennady looking the way he did with Mayweather; that gets him hurt. But I say Marquez needs to back up his knowledge of everyone else (of course he didn't know how to beat Floyd either), and finish off Bradley, then step in and show the world how you'd beat Canelo.

Canelo didn't dare to be great
First of all, Marquez is supposed to have something to say. He's a boxing analyst for ESPN Deportes.
2nd, calling Marquez a "know-it-all"? Uh, yea, he has an extremely high boxing IQ and has actually been in the ring with Mayweather so I'd say his opinion is more valid than most.
Personally I think Canelo simply didn't dare to be great. What's the point of having a 15 lb weight advantage if your'e not going to impose your size. There were 2 separate occasions where Canelo landed a left hook to the body as Floyd simultaneously landed a counter right to the face of Canelo. If that pattern kept repeating itself, Canelo's face would've been busted up, but a good body attack (especially to the liver) is vital to slowing down any opponent. Canelo should've pressured more and forced more exchanges. Canelo however, is known for pacing himself in ALL his fights because he DOES have bad stamina. Canelo was AFRAID of getting tired and being vulnerable to a potential KO by the hands of Floyd.
Anyone remember the Lara-Angulo fight? Lara was tagging the crap out of Angulo but Angulo wouldn't stop coming. Angulo believed in his power and weight advantage and created his own luck by eventually hurting Lara. Angulo BTW, has even slower feet than Canelo but had the clever tactic of switching to Southpaw at times in order to cut off the ring. Angluo eventually got TKO'd but at least he "DARED TO BE GREAT".
I liked Canelo's jab at times. If he would've mixed in some suffocating pressure he would've taken more counter shots but, he would've given himself a better chance to slow down and eventually hurt Mayweather.
Heck it seemed like the official judges were giving Canelo every benefit of the doubt. Canelo could have conceivably won a split decision or draw if he would've pressured more.

I think that Canelo's style had more to do with him losing than the actual weight loss itself. The lower weight may have benefited him to some degree because he appeared to be in tip-top conditioning and didn't fade late as usual. Additionally, I thought he displayed more stamina in this fight than in previous fights as was the case in the Austin Trout bout.
The reason why he lost is because he was just too deliberate and cautious with his punch output. He was attempting to counter the master counter puncher and that is a feat which is next to impossible against a fighter like Floyd. Sure, he landed more than his share of jabs and body punches against Mayweather but he just didn't attempt to throw more of them.
In my opinion, Alvarez biggest mistake was attempting to KO Mayweather rather than outpointing him. His punches seemed a lot slower than usual as they were constanty missing their mark. In addition, he appeared to be pacing himself throughout much of the fight and had an unwillingness to over commit with any of his punches; Which was ironic since Floyd doesn't have a lot of knock out power himself.
Once again Canelo opted to fight his typical fight by choosing and picking his spots very carefully and fighting in spurts. However, this time it was a against a much smaller and weaker opponent. I thought he showed Floyd far too much respect. His power stems from being a very accurate counter puncher against over aggressive opponents but with Floyd it was totally different. He was able to easily neutralize that style because he is a natural boxer with excellent defensive skills.

BS!!!! Canelo loss because of Floyd!!!! Just like the other 44 opponents. People will say anything to avoid giving credit where it's do. Canelo loss because he faced someone Marquez never wants to face again, it's pretty simple. Canelo was in the best shape ever and he was fighting hard Floyd just did what he's done his entire career "MAKE VERY GOOD FIGHTERS LOOK ORDINARY" Mad props to Money May!!!
